I remember I used to watch pretty much everything on Cartoon Network when I was younger. Foster's stands out, but I can't place many names right now.
Now I enjoy looking up shows that I either missed or had been canceled before I could see them. Time Squad seems a fun show.

I used to watch a lot of Courage, and EE&E, and have recently begun watching Batman TAS. I really like B:TAS's art style.
I want to watch Beetlejuice, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

Batman is more recent for me too.
I only have seasons 1-3 just because I don't like the 4th season's art style. (the Joker looks more like a deranged, blue animaniac >:I)

My first cartoon - Earthworm Jim, Old Tom&Jerry from the 90's, the Mask (I love the style of the mask, characters were drawn pretty realistic as for a cartoon) later CartoonNetwork in 2004-2005 made my life happier. Best cartoons - Megas XLR, Johnny Bravo, Grimm Adventures, Teen Titans, X-man Evolution, Ed Edd Eddie, Time Squad, Transformers...
I still love them, I still watch them.
Sometimes enjoy Beetlejuice and old Looney Tunes. Personally I love characters like Willy Coyote, Leghorn and Bugs Bunny.

My top 3 fav cartoons: 1 - EWJ, 2 - Megas Xlr, 3 - The Mask.

Stupid/not very smart character with too much power that don't know how to use or use it for mocking others is allways welcome. And giant robots! Give me giant robots!

I can't actually remember any cartoons I watched as a kid apart from Dexter's Laboratory, which I didn't watch that much.

Decided to watch an episode on YouTube and it was full of sex references. WHY DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING?

If it weren't for my dad showing me old routines and old shows I probably wouldn't catch that many of the jokes in Beetlejuice.

For example, there was an episode where BJ and Lydia went to the Neitherworld hospital. At one point you hear over the hospital speakers "calling Dr. Coward, Dr. Spine, Dr. Coward."
It's a reference to the Three Stooges where they do "calling Dr. Howard, Dr. Fine, Dr. Howard."

It makes me smile. c:

My hate cartoons

Bobobō-bo Bō-bobo

I... I loved that show. I would stay up every Saturday to watch it back when they played it on Saturday Nights.

Chalk Zone pretty much gave me most of my inspiration to draw back in the day. I loved the quirkiness of the chalk world and all of the weird characters in it. Snap was one of my favorite characters back when the show was on and I was inspired to create superhero characters afterwards. The songs that played at the episodes... those were probably my favorite part. That was the only show I would watch consistently that did that. I remember getting the soundtrack for Christmas one year; I begged my parents to play the CD in the car ALL of the time.

Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog is the another cartoon I'm bringing up because it was one of the few cartoons that played on public TV (which is all I had as a young child) and it was absolutely my favorite. The other shows that were on were Pokemon, Digimon, and Monster Rancher, and yes, I liked those too, but Adventures took my top spot. Why? There were stupid robotic villains in it. Stupid villains usually made me favor a show, as did robots. While Pokemon had stupid villains, Digimon had robots, and Monster Rancher... well, I can't remember too much about that show to be honest, but there weren't any stupid robots in it if my memory serves correct. Those ridiculous villains of Adventures - Scratch, Grounder, Dr. Robotnik, and Coconuts - they made me watch the show. I'd always love to see what scheme they would have and how it would horribly backfire.

Onto a cartoon I never really cared for- The Wild Thornberries. I don't know if I was just too young to understand the show or if it just bored the heck out of me. Either way, I didn't like it. It also seemed unusual to me that a character was like "I CAN TALK TO ANIMALS! But it's totally a secret!" in a cartoon because there were so many cartoons where humans and animals would talk like it was the most normal thing in the world. I think I may have just saw that show at the wrong time.

I was always hooked on old videos -- specifically, ones of shows like Strawberry Shortcake, Care Bears, etc.

Oh yeah, and then there were the Just for Kids videos.

They were almost always poorly-dubbed anime, but they DID get the first release of Sherlock Hound (Hayao Miyazaki!) and they often were able to get their hands on some pretty unusual titles. I didn't know that I was absorbing a bunch of anime at the time, but I knew something was different and I liked it. A lot.

My favorite movie release by them was Manx-Mouse, and Kloreen has completely neglected to mention Serendipity, which is still one of the only movies she will watch.

I wanted to see this one SO badly, but I couldn't ever find the tape. I eventually found it at a Family Video that was getting rid of its VHS selection. The dubbing is absolutely AWFUL. There's a lot of soundtrack replacement that there really shouldn't be, but it's by the guy who wrote the Power Rangers theme song, so it's not completely terrible music either. But oh my gosh do I love the whole idea and the storyline. It doesn't help that even with his grating voice, Blinky is still the cutest little koala I've ever seen.

Oops, I forgot that they're not actually koalas. They're really some sort of interdimensional creatures that are born out of robots.

And then on the opposite end of the spectrum, I really, really loved the old stuff from the 30s and the 40s. Still do. Again, never realized what I was watching was that old, but I knew something was different. They were usually a lot funnier than the new stuff. They still are. Don't ever let me start watching UB Iwerks cartoons on YouTube. They're brilliant and I will be watching a two hour marathon if I want to watch just one of them.

Oh no, they used to have a TON of cartoons on public TV back then where we were. You just never liked TV and were always off drawing and playing with dolls. Meanwhile I was watching all the stuff on the Canadian channel.
