Neverhood Jukebox, Songs that remind you of NH.

So Pyreo and I are always trying to find songs that remind us of NH or its characters.
We decided we'd make a topic for it, in case anyone else finds some good Neverhoody music. And maybe put them together eventually? *coughfanmixhinthintcough*

I'll start... with not a single song, but an ENTIRE ALBUM that works for NH.
It's actually an EP by the ska band Five Iron Frenzy, called "Quantity is Job 1"

1) "My Evil Plan to Save the World"
This is all Klogg.
Got tired of whining,
a grander scheme with silver lining,

2) "All That Is Good"
Works for Klaymen, especially since it recalls some Biblical lines.
Logically there's room for all questions
Though the answers aren't all known,
Objectivities the myth of plenty,
Who doubt his truth within their soul.

3) "Dandelions"
A song about unconditional love, and as a result, has lyrics that work for both Hoborg and Willie.
Willie's: In a field of yellow flowers,
underneath the sun,
bluest eyes that spark with lightning,
boy with shoes undone.
He is young, so full of hope,
reveling in tiny dreams,
filling up, his arms with flowers.
Hoborg's: Gently lifting hands to heaven,
softened by the sweetest hush,

loving them so very much.

4) "One Girl Army"
This album works for NH so much it works for the freaking FAN CHARACTERS. And this one's all my character, Idina. :]
She is strong but never silent,
sure of where her truth/strength comes from.
one day, one girl army will overcome.
Treading the current, issues at hand.

5) "Sweet Talkin' Woman"
An awesome song, and reminds me very much of Kleo. :3

No, she's not a happy worker, but the song is in minor which makes is sarcastic like her. : P Plus there's engines (Evil Engines) and pistons and buttons and all that stuff Klogg has lots of.

Well. "Qu'est-ce que (Que est-ce que)" means literally "What is that which" (because "que" means what/which, ce is the subjective form of an indefinite object (that), and "est" is the third-person singular form of "être" (to be)) and "c'est (ce est) is "that is" (for the same reasons). The "(ça)" (objective form of the indefinite object) was put there to indicate that while not technically grammatically correct, it is colloquially used throughout the francophone world. Therefore, "Qu'est-ce que c'est ça" means What is that which that is", or, "what is that".

And "/ anal retentive" was meant to indicate (using html close-tag format) that I was finished being butt-tight about the fact that incorrect French was used.
