Guys, I need to ask your opinion on something here. What should I do about submissions that I don't WANT to process?

I ask because I got Mongoose in the site's inbox. Some people say that her character isn't really 'worthy' of being displayed like that alongside everyone else's... I mean, it seems like a kid who thought it'd be funny and random to do ZOMG FURRIES for no reason. And for the picture, she supplied this.

I knew the quality of when I was given to put up would vary, and I guess I thought it wouldn't matter so much because the worthwhile characters would outweigh the bad. Then again this fandom has shown itself to accept all kinds of characters no matter how unbelievable, and treat them equally. ...Even though some people have actually put in more effort, spent more time, and generally care more about what they've created.

So, I really don't know. In trying to think of more submission criteria to control this I thought of making an age limit, but that seems to go too far, making a generalisation instead of dealing with case-by-case, and there's no way to enforce it. Or perhaps we could have a poll on here for dubious applications and they only get in if there's a majority vote. I don't know. Help me, guys. I worked so hard to make that site work and now I feel like it's going to have far less integrity if I allow in the 'WTF' characters...

It's a hard decision, I must admit that.

I don't wanna say anything about artistic skills etc., because people just have talent or they lack of it. And I'm neutral when it comes to furries.

Yet I think she needs to work on her character a little bit more. Mongoose seems kinda blank. There's nothing unique about her in my opinion. She's just emo o.O

I also think that this girl keeps making new characters without developing the old ones. I see there's Mongoose, Kat and Kork. I bet there's going to be more.

Maybe voting would be the most fair way to settle it.

If she actually has a good reason why her character has paws and a tail, I'd be okay with it. But it doesn't seem like she does... so I'm not so sure.

My character had a large nose...though he wasn't supposed to be an animal. He just had a big nose...you could think of "is Kalder an animal?" in the same sense as, "is Klaymen a human?" Not really, it's just a creature.

I'm not sure if I'd approve this, but take caution to not turn this into some kind of popularity war between character creation people.

I should probably post here when I add more profiles, otherwise nobody will know.

And we could still do with more! So link your character's profile to your friends and see if we can't maybe bulk up the place.
