Title: Glitch or rule change?

Kolourful - March 10, 2009 08:00 PM (GMT)
I noticed I can't edit my posts anymore. Has this feature been disabled or is there a problem with the forum?

I kinda rely on the edit button for all the inevitable mistakes I make for not proofreading my posts. Ah well...I should learn to be more careful.

There definitely isn't a rule change. I don't know if I even HAVE the power to disable post editing, but I never would, because like you say mistakes can happen often.

Must be the board playing up again. I can still edit, but the button isn't displaying properly. That might be an admin thing though. Let's see if it'll go away on its own. .__.

The only way to prevent members from editing their posts is by preventing the whole group to do so.

Okay, according to this, it's just that the edit button won't show up. I can now only edit posts that I've previously edited and are cashed in Firefox's memory.

Hopefully this little problem will fix itself on its own, then?

The graphic for the EDIT POST button isn't showing up, 'cause I can't see it either. Re-upload the image and we'll all be cool.

I wasn't seeing the 'DELETE POST' buttons when this was brought up, but now I do. Maybe it's better.

I'll think about reuploading the pic, because honestly, they do fail from time to time but they've always popped back in eventually, so I stopped bothering to replace images each time. It's just a bit of downtime... but I'll fix it up so we don't get any more confused with this function.

Imageshack is a terrible choice for uploading images like this, it's great for temporary images, but for permanent images [EG: Forum buttons, website images], it is the worst thing you can do.
I can host all your images if you want, just PM me with a archive of all the images or such and I'll upload them and link you to the folder.

Are you a bot or spammer of some kind?
