I'm looking for a better way to inventory my new and returned Cisco network devices.
Is anyone using the barcode scanning feature in NeDi?
How does this work, and where can I find a list of supported devices?

Not sure I understand you correctly, but we use a barcode scanner to add devs/modules to the stock. We configured the scanner (which goes between keyboard and computer) so it sends a tab after succesful scan. We first scan the SN and then the Type field paste some location (ctrl-V) and hit enter. This way you're really fast (around 5 sec per device).
