Hello,

let me first say: NEDI is great!

We run nedi 1.0 W under RH-Linux ES3. Our device base are about 240 cisco
devices.
On some devices for example a: WS-C4006 Software, Version NmpSW: 8.4(11)GLX
nedi gives error: Fi + Fp for all vlans.

If I run nedi.pl -d -t ....

discovery is ok up to 'module description' after that:

Fi146No response from remote host '172.20.11.25'
Fp146No response from remote host '172.20.11.25'

If I dump the packets into wireshark I get something like this:

Host -> Device GetBulkRequest
Host -> Device GetBulkRequest
Device -> Host GetResponse
Host -> Device ICMP Destination Port unreachable

The device generates a lot of this messages to syslog:
%IP-6-UDP_SOCKOVFL:UDP socket overflow from Source IP: 134.95.129.28, Destination port: 161

Thanks
