Season: Greenleaf
Weather: Greenleaf has always brought joy to many of the clans as the storm water runs from StormClan into the dry lands of QuakeClan. Three of the four clans do not suffer in these times. StormClan will be having a difficult time during this Greenleaf.

Name: Duskstar
Gender: She-cat
Age: 39 Moons
Clan: FireClan
Rank: Leader
Lives: 9

Description:
Duskstar had a pelt of fire, a living replica of the name and the type of disasters that ravage her home, her life. She had light gold eyes and an average build. As a kit, she was nothing special, but her name was given to her by her birth. The setting sun, the time of dusk, was the time she was born.

Besides being of average build, she does not favor running, fighting, or swimming. Unlike the other clans, FireClan cats are very good at climbing trees and well balanced in fighting and running. There is no need for them to swim as they have no major sources of water except a small pond in which they get their water from. Duskstar takes great pride in her tree climbing skills.

Personality:
Duskstar is very much like the setting sun. She has an aura around her that is warm and welcoming to many cats in her Clan. She is also very kind to those who seek her help from other Clans, but she does not forget to collect on their debt. In her mind, cats should help other cats and remember who has done what for another.

Duskstar can never have kits of her own, so she make it her duty to keep very good care of all the kits of the Clan born under her reign. They are her kits, even if they aren’t her blood.

History:
Duskkit was born to Whitewing, a young warrior that was crippled. She was born under the setting sun, next to her stillborn brother. Their medicine cat at the time, Hawkfeather, seemed keen on making sure she survived. The next morning, Duskkit was found whining next to her dead mother who had died during the night from a hard birth.

Duskkit was adopted by Whitewing’s friend and queen, Nightwing. They shared the same last portion of the name as a request. Nightwing cared for Duskkit after losing both her kits to the chill that day. Without even knowing it, they became linked as mother and daughter, forever and always.

Duskkit grew strong and wise with a flame colored pelt. She was often found wandering the camp looking for things to do, and Hawkfeather would entertain her with stories just as the elders would. There was an odd resemblance between the medicine cat and the kit, but no one would ever come out and say it. It was against the warrior code for a medicine cat to have kits.

Having grown to her six moon point, Duskkit became Duskpaw under deputy Treefur. She learned everything a FireClan cat needed to survive. The apprentice trained hard and played hard in everything she did, creating bonds with Nightwing and Hawkfeather that no other cat could ever have. The she-cat was happy with her life, at least, until the night the horizon glowed red with fire.

Cat were yelling everywhere around her, and she was confused as they pelted from the area. Hawkfeather came to her side, Nightwing already having run ahead. The Medicine Cat was getting old, but he was not about to leave Duskpaw behind. He pushed her along, but the two of them were trapped by the glowing limbs that fell from above. Before he died from smoke inhalation, he told Duskpaw that he was her father, that he could not tell anyone because of his rank. He also told her he was proud of her and that he loved Whitewing and Duskpaw with all his heart.

Filled with a new power, Duskpaw took Hawkfeather and fled the burning camp to join her Clan at the safe area on StormClan territory. Hawkfeather was already gone, and when she became a warrior, Firestar named her Duskfeather. Treefur had also died in the fire, and because of her bravery, Firestar chose Duskfeather as his new deputy.

Stormstar gave her the nine lives when Firestar died. Floodstar was there as well, and she watched them leave her new camp with down tails. The second original leader was gone, and Duskstar had a lot of new responsibilities. Hawkfeather, Nightwing, and Whitewing were somewhere above her, and she couldn’t let them down.

’Your secret is my honor, father. I won’t let you or my mothers down.’

Roleplay Example:
Duskstar climbed out of her den and stretched, yawning as she did so. Another morning had come to find the clan safe and sound. There wasn't an attack from any of the other clans, and there certainly hadn't been any fires, for a couple of moons. The peacefulness of the morning wouldn't last long, though, because the Dawn Patrol was going to be sent out soon. They would probably find something wrong when they head out to check the territory.

Her light gold gaze swept over the clearing as the couple of apprentices and warriors that were going on the patrol gathered in the center, waiting for each other to get up out of their beds and drag themselves outside. A grin appeared on the leader's face as she padded over to the gathering cats. "Good morning! Be sure to check the border with StormClan thoroughly. We haven't sent a patrol there in a while." she meowed, nodding to them. With that said, the leader padded away to the fresh-kill pile, checking if there would need to be any hunting patrols sent out immediately after the clan woke up.

Doesn't seem as though we need any more fresh kill at the moment.
Right about that point in time, though, an apprentice had come up to the pile and picked up a squirrel from the pile. He noticed the leader and gave her an awkward nod as he padded away to eat the creature locked tight in his jaws. Duskstar gave him a warm smile and watched him leave. Soon after, the rest of the clan started stirring. It wouldn't be too long before every cat was busying themselves with something or other and the Dawn Patrol would come back with news of their findings. The birds were singing their sweet songs in welcome of the rising sun and the sun shown on the scene with a soft glow. Maybe today wouldn't be bad after all, just maybe.
