Academy Student Group: Members Posts: 3 Member No.: 22 Joined: 7-November 07	Clan Name: Mamorou (sometimes spelled Mamarou) Clan Abilities: -Each clan memeber is born with bones that are hollow and have honeycomb like structures just like a bird, making the clan memebers very light and fast. Tori Supi-Chi (Bird Screech Jutsu) Ninjutsu lvl 2 Mamorou Clan Only -This jutsu allows the user to communicate with their NinRaptor, or pet bird of prey, through birdlike screeches. The communication is specific to the clan making it hard for enemies to understand. The user can speak human and the NinRaptor will understand, or the user can make bird screeches just like the bird, but either way the user will understand, as will the bird. Mature NinRaptors gain human speech, but for the first many years the bird can only speak in bird screeches. Tori Houmon Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Bird Call Summoning) Ninjutsu lvl 5 Stamina lvl 5 (higher depending on the amount of summonings) Mamorou Clan Only -This jutsu is basically the same as the summon jutsu, but it allows the user or his NinRaptor to screech in a certain direction and the sound waves summon the intended summon. The user has to do three handseals regardless of who summons, but no scrolls or blood is required. Also, the jutsu allows the user to summon many times without using up the normal amount of chakra. Since the Mamorou Clan fights almost entirely with summons, this jutsu is required to keep the members from losing all of their chakra to summoning. Each summon still requires chakra, but not as much as it would normally cost because the user retains some of the chakra normally required in summo ning jutsu. Feza-Didensu (Feather Defense) Stage 1 Ninjutsu lvl 3 Mamorou Clan Only -This jutsu allows the user, with intense concentration, to grow feathers from every area of their body excpt for their face and allows them to harden the feathers to be as sharp as steel. This blocks almost every physical attack and most elemental attacks. The jutsu lasts up to three posts where the feathers turn back to real feathers and fall off the user. Feza-Difensu (Feather Defense) Stage 2 Ninjutsu lvl 5 Mamorou Clan Only Requires Feather Defense Stage 1 -This jutsu builds upon Stage 1, giving the user the ability to grow feathers out of a body part they choose, such as just the arm. This jutsu also allows the user to detach feathers and sharpen them, giving the user an offensive weapon as well. With stage 2 the user can grow and retract feathers at will and many times over without any problems. The user can also layer the feathers to get even more protection. The feathers rarely inhibit the user, for each one weighs very little. They become strong like steel, but not meatallic, they are still just feathers. Unigu Sutairu Taijutsu (Wing Style Taijutsu Or "Fly Fighting") Taijutsu lvl 4 Ninjutsu lvl 3 High Speed ranks is necessary to be effective, but is not required Mamorou Clan Only -This Taijutsu was adapted from Hyuuga style fighting, and is the only defense most clan members have other than their signature summonings. The user holds their hands like Hyuuga Gentle Palm style, but instead of their hands being held upwards, perpendicular to the ground, this taijutsu style requires the user to hold their hands straight out from their arm with their fingers together like wings. When the user hits their opponent, a strong layer of circling wind forms around their hand and forms a wind point like a wind spear on the ends of their hands. Fighting someone with this taijutsu style will resulkt in a bloody affair, for the point on their hands can be up to five inches long and slice through human flesh very easily. Each Mamorou clan member spends two years of their life learning the taijutsu, usually after they become genin. They are also taught how to keep the wind point of their hand controlled so that the enemy cannot even rcognize the chakra enfused wind until it is drived into them. New learners are also taught which points of the human body are best to strike with their Taijutsu, such as which veins and arteries are the most vulnerable or vital. They are also taught with the help of Hyuugas with this because the Taijutsu is so similar. Just liek Hyuugas, they use the enemy's force and weight against them. The difference being that instead of stealing chakra they slice with their winded blades, cutting through their enemy. The other unique ability with this style is the way they can release the wind on their hands in a violent burst of wind, throwing an opponent backwards. They can do this in one large releas or in small bursts, making it easy to deflect enemy attack like projectiles, or to push an incoming fist or sword to the side. With enough chakra the user can remake their wind hands after releasing them. Mamorou Summons note- the Summons are usually brought to battle through the Bird Call Summoning Jutsu to conserve chakra Songbirds: Many songbirds can be summoned and none of them can combat an enemy directly, but all of them can use genjutsu. They usually hide from the enemy and sing or chirp, and they can direct the sound waves so that only the enemy will be effected by the genjutsu. If directly attacked the birds almost always unsummon themselves instantly. They cannot speak human. Blue Jays, Cardinals, Eastern Bluebird, Sparrow, Thrasher, and Thrush are but a few of the songbirds that can be summoned. They all can use the same genjutsu and usually they decicde which ones they will use. Furaito Fuka (Bad Flight Jutsu) Songbird Genjutsu -This genjutsu bring the victim either to a high cliff, where they will fall off in a burst of wind, or the victim will start off falling from a great height. The user will feel intense anxiety as they plummet to the earth. The ground gets closer and closer yet it can take three posts for them to hit the ground, where they will feel extreme pain all over their body. A songbird is capable of doing this genjutsu again, but that is its limit, aftewards being instantly unsummoned. Kashou Kantsuu (Piercing Song) Songbird Genjutsu -The songbird begins by singing or chirping, the standard way they begin any genjutsu, but suddenly the victim is blasted by a piercing shrill, as the bird's voice seems to be amplified again and again, never ceasing to become more painful to their ears. If the victim does not locate the songbird and attack it, or use Kai, this could lead to many openings for attack. The victim will feel horrible pain, and will not be able to ignore it Koumori Kaosu (Bat Chaos) Songbird Genjutsu -The songbird uses this genjutsu to make the victim feel as though thousands of bats are flying around them and attacking them, scratching biting, and shrieking. Most victims are flustered and distracted from the battle at hand. A songbird can use this only twice before being unsummoned/ Pigeons Pigeons are often used by the Mamorou clan to send messages back and forth. The pigeons can fly for miles and never get lost. They can communicate their message to othe Mamorou clan members through their chirping, because notes are too dangerous. If an enemy got their hands on the written message, their would be problems, and an enemy can't understand pigeon speech, so they can't torture it out of the pigeons. Pigeons have only one defense jutsu. Hato Feza-Didensu ( Pigeon Feather Defense) Stage 1 Pigeon Defensive Jutsu -This jutsu allows the pigeon manipulate its feathers allowing them to harden the feathers to be as sharp as steel. This blocks almost every physical attack and most elemental attacks. The jutsu lasts up to three posts where the feathers turn back to real feathers. Ravens Ravens are summoned in groups of at least ten and are not used in combat, and cannot speak human, the only thing they provide for the user is the ability to dispose of evidence, such as dead bodies. Occasionaly they can be used as scouts for the user as well. After a Mamarou clan member dies the Ravens are automaticlly summoned and dispose of the body so as to keep anyone from stealing the Mamarou secrets. Owls The legend of the Mamarou Owls is enigmatic and intriguing. There has never ben more than five Owls alive at the same time, even though they live for many centuries. Their king is the Eurasian Eagle Owl, but the only Owl who can be summoned presently is Hisashi, the Masked owl. Hisashi is very snobish but wise. He knows almost everything about shinobi. He knows the History of all the countries and he knows about all of the old clans and the new clans. He is very wise and knows many dozens of languages. If attacked he will unsummon himself, if he happened to find the situation worth observing. Usually he will just complain that he was summoned and unsummon himself. Falcons and Hawks -These birds of prey are rarely summoned, though a wide variety of them exist. The reason they are not summoned often is because these birds are usually the NinRaptors that fight with Mamarou clan members. If they are summoned it is usually for recon missions, but generaly a Mamarou will use their own NinRaptor. Eagles The Eagles are the backbone of the Mamarou clan summonings. They are very strong and can fly for long periods of time. Almost all of them can speak human. They can also sustain flight while carrying up to two people, usually one on their back and one in their talons. Their beaks and talons are sharp and they have excellent vision. There are a few different types of Eagles that can be summoned. There is the Bald Eagle, Harpy Eagle, Great Spotted Eagle, but the King summon for the Eagles is Kenji the Golden Eagle, he is powerful and wise. Regular Eagle Jutsu: Washi Feza-Difensu (Feather Defense) Stage 2 Eagle Defense -This jutsu builds upon Stage 1, giving the Eagle the abilityto detach feathers and sharpen them, giving the Eagle an offensive weapon as well as a defensive weapon. With stage 2 the Eagle can grow and retract feathers at will and many times over without any problems. The Eagle can also layer the feathers to get even more protection. They become strong like steel, but not meatallic, they are still just feathers Himei no Jutsu (Shriek) Eagle Ninjutsu -The user lets forth a loud scream, enhanced by chakra, usually loud enough to make people cover their ears and make their bodies numb due to high frequency sound waves. This jutsu should not be used overmuch, since it strains the user�s throat quite a bit. Fuuton: Kaze Bakudan (Wind Type: Wind Bomb) Eagle Ninjutsu -Similar to the Fuuton: Shinkuutai Naihatsu (Wind Type: Air Pocket Bursts) ability, this creates a ball of wind out of the users chakra that is free-floating arround the user. If the user has enough chakra he or she can sustain multiple wind-bombs simultaneously and send them twords a target with a gust of wind. The bombs "explode" on impact, sending a powerful gust of wind in the direction of the collision. The Wind Bombs are visable as a wavy disruption of air Fuuton: Kenkaze (Wind Type: Blade of Wind) Eagle Ninjutsu -A Ninjutsu technique where the ninja creates a whirlwind blade around their opponent with their chakra. It slices through them easily, as it is said that "nothing can stop a blade of wind." This technique can easily cut and gash an enemy. Truely a strong jutsu. Kenji the Golden Eagle: Kekkai (Rupture) Eagle Ninjutsu -The user pours chakra into their vocal cords and screams, using more chakra to manipulate the sound to only travel in a cone forward. The intense fluctuations in pressure caused by the hyper-amplified sound will cause microscopic weaknesses in the skin of any enemy caught in the blast to shear apart, creating thousands of tiny surface wounds. Internal tissues are affected as well at ranges less than 20 feet, creating numerous internal wounds that can take weeks to heal without a shinobi medic's intervention. Fuuton: Tatsumaki no Jutsu (Wind Type: Tornado Technique) Eagle Ninjutsu -With this move, the user will creat a real tornado. This tornado can be used to tear through buildings and can even clear a small area of a forrest. Being hit by this move would really hurt. The target would suffer from many gashes and cuts from the fast moving winds. -note- Kenji also has the regular jutsu that Eagles have Kazuhiko the Gryphon There is one Gryphon who can be summoned. A Gryphon is a half Eagle and half lion creature that is very powerful, said to be the one creature a dragon is afraid of, or at least respectful of. Kazuhiko is the Raptor King, the leader of all the bird of prey summons. He is very powerful, very fast, and has a vast knowledge of many things, as he has been alive for over 700 years. He is part Golden Eagle and part Mountain Lion. He is feared and respected across the land, and will not tolerate being summoned without a good reason. Kazukahiro has the same jutsu as Kenji the Golden Eagle, plus a few more. Saisei no Saibou (Cell Regeneration) Gryphon Ninjutsu -A Ninjutsu technique where the ninja focuses all of their chakra into one part of their body just before an attack. The moment that attack connects, the chakra activates the natural regeneration of the body's cellular makeup, repairing the damage done by an attack the moment after it is done. An extremely powerful jutsu, it uses almost all of the ninja's chakra Fuuton: Shippuu no Jutsu (Hurricane Technique) Gryphon Ninjutsu -Kazuhiko creates almost Hurricane like force winds embedded with chakra to slice through metal like hot butter. Rain and clouds build up and make the victim unable to see or maneuver. The jutsu covers the area of five football fields and lasts up to three posts, when Kazuhiko will be unable to perform any more jutsu. He may stick around, but if he is attacked he will have to unsummon himself as combat will be too difficult for him. Similar Appearence: Pheonix The final and most powerful of all the Bird Summons is the Pheonix. Once summoned it cannot be summoned again for ten days, meaning that the Mamarou clan rarely ever summons the Pheonix, and only under dire situations, such as when the Leaf is under attack. It requires at least two highly trained Mamarou clan members to summon the Pheonix. There is a squad of Mamarou members who dress in white cloaks who handle summoning the Pheonix, and are usually the ones who do after long discussions by Mamarou high officials. It is a very serious affair for the Pheonix to be summoned. Koton: Ryuujin Bakuha (Flame Type: Dragon King Blast) Pheonix Ninjutsu -As with Goukakyuu no Jutsu, the user gathers an enormous amount Chakra in his lungs, and breath it out so that it ignites with slightest contact with air. If not for the sheer power of the blast alone, which is enough to instantly melt anything in its path, its enormous area of effect make it the ultimate fire element technique. Any creature caught in the 150-ft. long cone attack will suffer massive damage. This takes a lot of chakra. Katon: Toku no Jutsu (Flame type: Shield Flame Technique) Pheonix Ninjutsu Very powerful fire jutsu created by Mori Uchiha himself, the user concentrates chakra then ignites the air around them into a sphere/shield of swirling fire that can be expanded outward. Much like the Hyuga's rotation except with fire: repels projectiles and deflects or discourages taijutsu attacks. Kaijin Shinsei (Ash Rebirth) Pheonix Ninjutsu -If the Pheonix is attacked by a powerful jutsu, especially water jutsu, the Pheonix will burst into ash and is virtually untouchable. The Pheonix will be a pile of ashes for one post before it will reform back into a Pheonix. It can do this twice before it must be unsummoned. Clan Location: Leaf, used to belong to Sand Clan History: The Mamorou clan is a very skilled and dangerous clan. It was born from a man who lived in the Stone Village who had a pet Falcon. He wedded a woman in the Sand Village who had strong nature abilities. That is all that we know of the origins of the clan. Not much else is known of the original two founders, but it is rumored that the man had excellent taijutsu abilities and the woman had great ninjutsu, especially when it came to nature. Somehow when they birthed a child it had strange abilities that dealt with taijutsu and as the clan developed, or rather their son had children, it was discovered that the clan had a unique ability to fight alongside birds in battle, especially birds of prey like the falcons. This is believed to have stemmed from experimentations the original founders had with the man's pet falcon. The clan originally grew in the Sand village, for that was where the woman and man lived, and it flourished abundantly. Many Mamorou students excelled in both taijutsu and bird-like Ninjutsu, and almost all of the later generations have bird like features as well, such as pointy noses or elongated ears. They are nothing particularly abnormal or even ugly, but definitely different. The clan began to get grief from the Sand village because the Kage disliked a high ranking official in the Mamorou clan. The Kage began spreading rumors about that man and the rumors were associated to the rest of the clan via Hasty Generalization resulting in a hatred of the clan by almost everyone in the Sand Village. All clan members were seen as inferior and worthy only of eradication. Members seen in public were attacked or arrested by the Kage's police. Of course it took many decades for the hatred to build, but it resulted in mass genocide of Mamorou members. Graffiti and propaganda bearing the falcon symbol of the Mamorou clan were burned and sent around as targets. It was a terrible time for the Mamorous. Many of the surviving members fled to the Leaf after a statement made by the Hokage that free and safe passage would be granted to the Mamorou clan. The stubborn ones who remained in the Sand village were killed off or never heard from again. In the Leaf village the Mamorou clan gradually prospered and flourished. There were a few skirmishes between the Leaf and the Sand because Sand ninjas came to the Leaf to try and attack the Mamorou members who had fled there, but the Leaf protected the clan, and were repaid for their kindness. Mamorou members did very well inside the Leaf for they studied and examined the clans of the Hidden Leaf Village. In particular they analyzed clans like the Nara, Hyuuga, and most obviously the Inuzuka clan. The Mamorou clan mimicked the tactical knowledge of the Nara clan, reversing the meaning of "bird brain" to something positive. They made their own variant of the Hyugas Taijutsu Gentle Palm style taijutsu. And they began taking on their own NinRaptors, much like an Inuzuka member has a nindog, a Mamorou member has a NinRaptor, or bird of prey, that they fight alongside with. The Mamorou clan also took on characteristics of the Frog summoning such as Gamabunta. The first thing a Mamorou clan shinobi learns (after getting a ninraptor) is the Bird Call summoning, which is how the clan summons bird summons on a regular basis, because other than Mamorou taijutsu, the clan members fight solely with their bird summons. The Mamorou clan initially received criticism for trying to copy these clans, but they soon lost the reputation and have grown into a very well respected clan inside the Leaf, and are often used as scouts for ANBU missions or for protecting the borders of the leaf.
