The Village Hidden in the Leaves (Konohagakure village) stands by itself, everyone living in peace and prosperity. The ninja of Konoha protect the bounderies from any villains or rogues that seek power, trying to destroy Konoha. The ninjas of Konoha have always stopped that, their villagers being in safety, not even giving a thought of what was out there. It has been a little over one hundred years ever since Tsunade was pronounced fifth hokage. The days since then have been mostly peaceful in Konoha, almost no fights breaking out between villages.

Nothing has really changed in the past. The same things stand. Most exercises have been changed as time went on, sometimes being harder, and sometimes being easier depending on their instructor. The A, B, C, and D rank missions have not changed, most of them still being just as hard or just as easy. Most people have learned that most tradicions never change. Even the Chuunin exams are the same, the squads having to take the three tests to get to Chuunin.

But those are almost over. The dark days of Konoha have almost arrived. Bands of rogues are teaming up, their power increasing as they recruit more people, some even from the villages. For now they're staying in the shadows, but the ninjas of Konoha are keeping an eye out, most of them being very suspicious. Those rogues were up to no good. But that was all they knew. Some ninjas who spotted them never got out of there alive. These ninjas are from all kinds, some being people who somehow hated Konoha for their own reasons. But most being around the rank of Chuunin and Jonin, Genin being in only small portions.

They are preparing raids on Konoha, attacking with powerful jutsus that some Konoha ninja can't even counter. The rogues will kill ruthlessly and without question, not caring what kind of victims they met. They take no survivors. Unless someone has information, but there are only few that are intrusted with plans of the battle. The ninjas of Konoha are training harder than ever, some villages training a bit too just so they can fight at Konoha's side, not against them. This will be war and most will not survive.
