I. WTH is this! We know how to sprite, what the s***! Don't give some tutorials that we know already!

To tell the truth, not all are good in spriting, MegaMatrix and DragonZero are the only one who sprite good. So get out! JK, trust me, NOT ALL are good in spriting!!

II. RECOLORING SPRITES

Materials:

a) Palette Image
b) Custom Sprite/Ripped Sprite
c) Eye-dropper tool
d) Pencil

This section is for the ones who can't recolor their sprite the right way. So focus on this one, but focus MORE on shading, because its really important.
Now get a palette depending on the color you want. I'm gonna choose Orange.
Now I'm gonna use MegaMan.EXE/Rockman.EXE to change his colors. It DOES NOT depends on the format of the sprite, It depends how you recolor it the right way.
After you finished recoloring it, save it!

My result would be:


Now .gifs are very annoying, I'm gonna choose purple for the recoloring and it came up with the stupid negative color -.-
Just watch how the shading I made, Now its cool to see if you look in shading first.

III. SPLICING SPRITES

Materials:

a) 2-3 NetNavi rips
b) Free-form tool

This is hard for newbies, I'm gonna use 3 sprites to make a custom NetNavi, its not very hard, but if you keep practicing it, you'll become a PRO just like MM and DZ.



For anyone who doesn't know SPLICE, it means you're gonna cut a sprite peice from another sprite. Period, simple.
Now start from the sprite that is the MAIN body or we will gonna call it a BASE. I'm using Falzar/Falzer/Faltzer Beast-out, then Greiga BO, then Colonel. They're easy to splice and edit :P
the Main body is Faltzer, now go to the second sprite or sub-sprite, use free-form tool, then cut it to pieces, then Paste it to the Main body, I want a sword for his RIGHT arm, now I'm gonna use Colonel's sword, splice it and put it in the Main body's right arm.
After I splice and edit it, paste it! Now I want a cover of Colonel's sword, not the sword saber, now I'm gonna splice Greiga BO's head, and delete the head, the headgear should remain, not his HEAD, I want to rotate it.
After that, paste it! Now save it as .PNG, not .GIF, now go to Colorize Support program like GIMP, then open your custom NetNavi image and Colorize it. After that now press CTRL + S, this should save the settings of your sprite color.
Now you're done making your own custom NetNavi :)

IV. MAKING YOUR OWN CUSTOM SPRITES

Materials:

a) Pencil
b) Eye-Dropper tool
c) Color Box

I know people like to make their own custom sprites that are not in the game, Like I did in Rockman.EXE Cross Fusion - Sprite Sheet topic.
To make your OWN custom sprite, make sure that you're hands are relax and rest well, If not, you can't use this section.
I'm a big fan of Cross Fusion system in anime even though they look Power Rangers, I still like the CF Team *giggles*.


This isn't going to be easy as you think, you must control your hand position. And you must think of a sprite that you wanna sprite it.
I can't supply the steps for you because I'm using Rockman.EXE's BN6 sprite and its .gif I'm using the GREY color for my own very well made custom NetNavi, and shading is the Dark Grey color. If I have time to do this section, I'll update it.
