First of all, the bit that applies to more people. I have new AIM, YIM, and MSN names. And these are all permanent. No more changing for me. FO SRS.

The Mystic Wish Forums are having a Pokemon Gen IV WiFi Tournament. The rules are:- No Ubers [basically, anyone on this list]
- Item Clause: NO [More than one Pokemon CAN hold the same item]
- Species Clause: NO [You CAN have more than one of the same Pokemon on your team]
- Evasion Clause: YES [You CANNOT use evasion-increasing moves]
- Sleep/Freeze Clause: YES [You CANNOT put more than one Pokemon on opponents team to sleep or freeze them. Self-sleep via Rest does not count.]
- OHKO Clause: YES [You CANNOT use one-hit KO moves such as Fissure.]
- Self-KO Clause: YES [On the last Pokemon, you CANNOT use moves that would KO both the user and the opponent, such as Perish Song or Destiny Bond. Recoil damage, like from Wood Hammer, does not count, and in the case recoil KOs both user and opponent, the one that last attacked is the winner.
- Done with the clauses. All matches must be recorded, whether via video camera or Platinum Battle Videos does not matter, so proper judging can be conducted. Doesn't matter which player does this, as long as its agreed on before the match.
If this goes over well, there may be an Uber Tier tourney at a later date. So. Make sure to follow the rules.
The tourney will start once I get my party ready. There will be plenty of time, rest assured, I do hundreds of things at once here.
There will be a sign-up topic elsewhere, where the rules will be repeated.

Attention MW members. I need your assistance. Firstly, please use this topic to recommend to me any online stores, or ebay stores, or anything like that. Be sure they work, though. If you don't know of any, start shopping and give me some good results.
Just make sure they're stores MW members like. Like GKworld or an ebay store that sells pokemon plushies.

International Pirate day, better known to known pirates and none pirate decendants as International Talk Like a Pirate Day, is this Saturday, September 19th every year... this holiday is celebrated by very few... in consideration of how many people there be in the world...
and after having discovered i'm decendant of pirates (we traced our geniology back as far as the "infamous" Blackbleard's Grandson and a norwegian wench. how ever it is that you spell the name that one calls a person hailing from norway.
anyway. I've noticed there is no notice on MW of this holiday. and there are 3 more days til it's arrival. yet very few have even uttered a word about it.... tis a shame...
I think that come saturday. whom ever the scallywags that be upon this website be. that they shouldst all talketh like a pirate...
and don't forget... you may dress like a pirate upon that day as well...
tis no matter if thine accent suckeths. matters only that thou hast that piratey spirit put behind it... |
