Mell stopped and stood still. She zoned out giving a blank out of state stare. Flashbacks came to mind. It's not a stick!! She rememberd shouting. She faced a mountan troll with it. Being tonted for treasering it with pride. The thought of it falling apart, turning into dust in the wind never to be found again. Her mind went to the back of her head and stayd there. It was unsure if it was the thought of loosing something that she has always had, or just the zombie in her striking her mind while it's weak. Her eyes wide, she just stood there not binking and barely breathing even. She managed to speak only a few words. "No, no I can't do that." hse said weakly. It felt like something snapped in her head and she gave a jerk. She blinked an dturned to the others again with her mind back in state. "Um.....how much of it would you need?" she asked giving a consern look. "Could you take off just a little at the end or something? Maybe we could gather the other ingredeants first and wait to see if we could find some more bristlewood to use........"

"Well, let's hope for that then," Torvo said, smiling. This girl was getting stranger by the second. Did she value the stick more than her own life? Was she...in love with the stick? Well, no time to think about that now. Why not? Well, just because it wasn't pleasent to think about.

"Okay then," Mell said, "um...I think the others want us to go over to my place to meet them so we can head out." She began walking to the door again. I hope the others don't think I'm so weird for wanting to keep the staff. I've had it for my whole life and nothing bad has happend to it so far. I want t keep it as long as I can. She thought to herself heading outside.

"How about this one?" Darik asked, holding up a brown cloak.
Looks fine to me... replied Remy. Can we get back to the woods now. Everyone is staring at me...
"Eh, yeah, we should...They're probably staring at me for talking to you, too..." Darik payed for the cloak, folded it up, and stored it in his satchel. "Let's go. Mell might be waiting for us."

Torvo followed Mel out of the inn, ignoring Corte's protests anbout how the inn was such a comfortable place, the food was delicious, and who cared about Mel while there was a place to nap? But Corte came too, not wanting to get left behind.

"I remember telling them to meet us at the inn," Torvo muttered, "I wonder what happened."

"Treehouse probably burned down. Or was attacked by zombies. Either one is feasible." Corte said. He had been feeling hostile ever since he had to leave the inn, a few seconds ago.

Mell turned her head slightly so the others behind her could hear her better. "I don't think the tree burned down and I honestly have no clue if zombies attacked, but I do know that they were just getting everyone together. I told them that I would bring you back and I assumed that they would wait consitering that they didn't follow." She slightly qickend her pace now more eager to get home incase something is going wrong.

Darik and Remy returned to the base of the treehouse. Darik threw the cloak at Garou, sitting on the ground, who jumped in suprise as a brown flowing object came flying towards him. Luckily, he caught it. Sadly, he caught it on his head. He began to try and wrestle his way out of the cloth as Darik and Remy stared. Darik turned his gaze up towards the treehouse, and called up, "Hey, let's get a move on. We've got stuff that needs to be done, y'know? Like cure a zombie, and then defeat the ruler of all zombies...We can't just forget about that..." Darik turned his attention back to Garou, who had finally gotten the cloak on correctly. "Okay, Darik...I think I'm good to go," he said.

"You guys is all some serious honkies!" Corte exclaimed. He then conjured the mightiest of Hell's Beasts, Joan Crawford, from her beachside estate in Hades' Realm, and commanded her.

"Go forth, fel beast, and wreak destruction upon these honkies."

Joan Crawford, the fel beast, the proceeded to wreak much destruction upon aforementioned honkies, and killed dem all.
