Dead?

It appears that Modsmith is completely and utterly dead. I suggest proposing a complete merge with PDS (I know we're basically the same already, but just making it official). This would involve reposting all major threads onto the PDS forums, and moving all the projects we are working on to there, where they might actuallly be able to be completed (probably not until the RLE is finished though), making an anouncement on AoMH, and making CStanford a member of PDS. So, what say anyone who still checks the forums?

The one thing we wouldn't consider is changing of hierarchy , but we would be willing to accept any Modsmith members that wish to join a more active community, and would be permitted to do so without application. Just a PM will suffice.

It'd be very difficult to handle both the Xin Dynasty and the RLE at the same time, so the team may be temporarily partitioned, either that or the Xin Dynasty will be postponed until members have the time, possibly after a closed beta testing of the RLE, at which point we'll have very little art and just a few bugs to weed out.

What do you mean by changing of hiercy? If there are leaders of MS who aren't leaders of PDS, we can always have co-leaders.

Trust me man, Dundo is long gone. I still talk to him but he's definitely moved on from the AoM scene.

meh, me and dundo get together and make some stuff every once in a while for aom.

Anyway, about a marge, idk. I dont feel safe making an official merge because something could turn up. But I'm still fine with it. Wonder what the others will think about this. Also, I'm not exactly fond of pds style or how its put together.(hurts my eyes and confuses me). So....lets see what the others think.

You could always propose a new forum skin..

Alright here's the proposal in full depth:

-Modsmith would merge into PDS
-Modsmith admins (Batman, since Dundo is gone) would be given the highest available leadership position at PDS
-Members would be granted entry based on the contents of following form, since we trust MS' judgement.

The filled out form are to be PMed to either myself, GoM, Urgwaine, MythicRuler or Candlemaster at the PDS forums.

How about you make Batman co-leader?

Can I fill out a form and send it to myself for kicks? Sadly this forum is dead and it never had enough members to recover from something like this. I say yes with the merge. Heck the Xin Dynasty could still be somewhat worked on if anyone sees interest and 'has to do' something. So I think a merge is best because there really aren't any posts here anymore.

I do still have everything of TXD, and I won't resign until I see it uploaded.

i know dundo personnely, and the only thing that could take him from you guys is either, #1 he got a life or #2 he just figured out that girls are attractive

well, we already have a svn for TXD, but I doubt anything will get done. Allow the members to come in. We'll just leave the forum here. Do we need to make this merge public? all you're doing is adding a few members. Doesnt really matter as long as work gets done. So I guess we're sorta merged now.
