So basically i restored some beta content and added some new infantry along with game play tweaks, no new icons at the moment because I'm having difficulties creating custom ones.
INSTALLATION:
just drag and drop files into the RA2 folder located in Westwood on the hd or in program files/ea games/the first decade/Red Alert 2/RA2

PLEASE report errors/bugs so i can fix them

Very simplistic, but might make the game a little more fun.
To start us off, Infantry:

STARTING TOP LEFT AND DOWNWARDS:

when i say elite weapon for these stats btw, I'm talking about the weapon they get with the +3 abilities (Sargent)

Combine Super Soldier (could find a better animation sequence, sorry):
weapon:Heavy assault rifle
elite weapon:20mm Assault rifle (doubles as anti-air machinegun)
no bugs from what i've seen
is a soviet unit

Combine Soldier (looks better ingame):
weapon:m4
elite weapon:Heavy assault rifle
no bugs from what I've seen
is a soviet unit

GI:
All i did is make it so his sand bags and arms are camo, nothing new otherwise
still an allied soldier

Jack Carver:
weapon:mp5
elite weapon:upgraded mp5 (according to the rules there isn't any good handgun i can give him without fucking up the hollywood single player mission)
bugs:his shirt looks a little off, color constantly swishes around, i'm working on it though
he is a hero unit, limit 2
allied soldier

Master chief:
weapon:automatic anti infantry rifle (mp5 +3)
elite weapon:mp5 +7
no bugs from what i've seen
he is a hero unit, limit 1
allied soldier
equipped with c4 sack
has a little less than the full health of a construction yard and basic armor
worth a SHITLOAD of points also, so in multiplayer killing this guy could put you up a little on the leader board, but don't depend on it

Metrocop:
weapon: USP
elite weapon: Sub-machine gun
no bugs, but he is a port so the scale is a little off
weak but REALLLLLLY cheap
soviet unit

Chris Redfield:
weapon:automatic rifle
secondary weapon(when depolyed):Stinger rocketlauncher with magazine (bazooka +3)
elite weapon:20mm automatic assault cannon, basic anti air capabilities
bugs:has a reflection on his shoulders of the team color
is an hero unit, limit 1
allied soldier

Soviet Soldier:
weapon:AK47 (PPsH +3)
elite weapon:automatic anti infantry rifle (mp5 +3)
has c4 pack
swimmer
soviet unit

Storm Trooper(a port from my old TS mod, a little low detail):
weapon:Laser Rifle
elite weapon:Automatic Laser Rifle
yeah, he's alot better looking in tiberium sun mainly because of the game's lower standard on graphics, but a good and working port nontheless
soviet unit

S.W.A.T. Main Soldier:
weapon:SMG
secondary weapon (when deployed):Allied Standard Issue
elite weapon:Allied Standard Issue
elite secondary weapon:PARA LMG
no real problems with this guy, I'm pretty sure it's an american only guy. could be wrong.

S.W.A.T. Sniper:
weapon:AWP
elite weapon:SVD (AWP +3)
no bugs
USA only i think, still allied though

Turouk (Spelling?):
weapon:long range autocannon
I only added one weapon for this guy for two reasons:
A. He can't handle being shot at alot, so he panics in big firefights and runs like a sissy
B. the long range autocannon is one of the most unfair weapons in the game i made up, based off of the terminator's gun in the hollywood mission, it kills tanks, buildings and infantry without struggle
no bugs other than his skin not turning darker like i told the editor to

Dark Trooper (looks like shock trooper):
weapon:blaster rifle
elite weapon:chain lightning

it can carry 2 infantry
BUGS! rotors don't work, they were never coded in!
soviet unit (duh, remember RA1?)

Howitzer Artillery:
weapon:artillery shell
elite weapon:friggin awesome artillery shell (don't ask)
Korean alliance unit
no bugs, doesn't work too well on tanks and buildings but does wonders on infantry
high range is a bonus too

I'm pretty sure you guys know what artillery and hinds look like

Paradrops are now megadrops, at LEAST 21 soldiers per drop

Cred to Tratos for his resized infantry pack that i used so tiberian sun and ra2 have the same sized infantry (hence the stormie) and mikael for that kickass paratrooper.
