Welcome to Metropolis Cove, the newest roleplaying town. Register your character and begin your adventure! Invite your friends to join the fun!

It is the year 2510 and a war between the known and the unknown had just caused the complete annihilation of a city. For days, you could hear the desolate cries of the residents who could not leave even with the thick smog and rubble littering the streets. Many people died especially the adults who sacrificed their own life to save their children. They heard of a place, a refuge to take their children. It was an abandoned warehouse, in the middle of the city – now known as the slums. Among the massive amounts of children ranging from newborn to teenager were five special thinkers who could not bear the thought of ever leaving. All of them, somehow, were connected – mind, body and soul. Night after night, they would commune together in the hallway drawing along the paint chipped walls, with an old box of crayons, a vision of their future home would be. The buildings were taller, the homes more lavish and people of all races, all ethnicities, of all cultures would be welcome. Ten years later … The headline on the Daily Metro read: Metropolis Cove, a city rebuilt, a society restored.

Letting his feet guide his way and his hand clutched over his pistol, Oscar walked around the corner into Harwins Shopping Center. Most of the family owned shops in the area were already beginning to close, pulling down their steel garage-type doors to protect what little they had inside.

Sola strode down the street, watching the residents as they closed their shops. Stealing wasn't her thing so she kept her eyes on the road ahead of her. That was when she saw the buzz-haired man from the gang earlier. Her brow furrowed and she slowed her walk, her hand fingering the pistol in her pocket.

Oscar stopped in front of fruit stand, where an elderly couple were packinging up their fruit and taking inside their very small home. When the couple looked up at Oscar, tall, muscular and scars on his face, they froze thinking they were getting ready to be robbed.

He bent down into a box of assorted apples and was searching for the ripest golden one. Bringing it to his nose and smelling the sweet juices, he reached into his pocket and handed them a five dollar bill. He bit into the apple and walked away.

The older woman looked at the crispy bill and waved to him. "Your change son."

"Keep it," said Oscar, in his calming deep voice.

Sola watched with a brow raised as the man walked away from the vending station, leaving the couple there flabbergasted. She frowned, finding herself following him.

Oscar's eyes continued checking out his surroundings, just only a few shops open - a liquor store, a small conviennce store and a fried chicken place. After eating the apple to the core, he tossed it into an overstuffed garbage can.

Sola walked a little faster when she saw him pass by a trashcan, his eaten apple toppling over. Frowning, she bent to pick it up and tossed it at his back.

Oscar stopped in his tracks, licking his lips. He took the back of his hand and wiped his mouth.

"So what, you came to revenge your friend?" he asked, turning around and lifting his brow at the short haired blonde.

Sola blinked and shook her head. "No... You littered." She pointed to the overflowing trash. Her eyes studied him carefully, taking his striking features, light skin, the long scar that ran down his right cheek.

"My bad," he said, picking up the apple core. Purposely leaning a bit over her, he placed the eaten apple inside another trashcan. Standing back after disposing his litter, he couldn't stop himself from looking at her -- great bone structure in her face, very ovular eyes and vibrant yellow hair.

Sonia kept her eyes steady on him, her hand hovering over her gun lest he pulled something. He looked quiet, feral, one resembling a wolf sizing his prey. Her eyes narrowed at him. "What?" she asked him.

"Be careful out here. I heard this place isn't the safest, especially for a lady like yourself." Turning on his heel, Oscar placed his hands back in his pocket and crossed the street, dodging the car which was speeding quickly down the narrow road.

Sola gritted her teeth when he walked away after that lovely 'advice.' Frowning, she sprinted after him and grabbed his sleeve. "Do you think I cannot take care of myself?" she asked, her accent thickening with her irritation.

"I didn't say that." Oscar snatched his sleeve away, making the seam tear. "Look, just beat it, alright."

Sola let go of his sleeve and blinked. "Beat it? I do not understand..." She hated this American lingo.
