Welcome to Metropolis Cove, the newest roleplaying town. Register your character and begin your adventure! Invite your friends to join the fun!

It is the year 2510 and a war between the known and the unknown had just caused the complete annihilation of a city. For days, you could hear the desolate cries of the residents who could not leave even with the thick smog and rubble littering the streets. Many people died especially the adults who sacrificed their own life to save their children. They heard of a place, a refuge to take their children. It was an abandoned warehouse, in the middle of the city – now known as the slums. Among the massive amounts of children ranging from newborn to teenager were five special thinkers who could not bear the thought of ever leaving. All of them, somehow, were connected – mind, body and soul. Night after night, they would commune together in the hallway drawing along the paint chipped walls, with an old box of crayons, a vision of their future home would be. The buildings were taller, the homes more lavish and people of all races, all ethnicities, of all cultures would be welcome. Ten years later … The headline on the Daily Metro read: Metropolis Cove, a city rebuilt, a society restored.

Simeon rolled up the sleeves of his collared shirt and look around through his dark sunglasses. There seemed to be a surplus of nonhomosapiens in the area, so he'd been called to annihilate any and all threats.

He smiled at the thought, adjusting the strap of his bag on his shoulder. The more the better Simeon smirked to himself.

Tre arrived at the train station in a matter of minutes, looking around to see if he spotted Keziah anywhere. He didn't.

Keziah received a call from her agent just after she stopped texting Tre. Hesitating whether to pick up or not, she finally answered and got an earful of how she needed to answer as soon as possible. There was news that Keziah might be leaving in a few days, meaning she needed Nancy's parents to agree to her staying or she would be going back home.

With a downcast expression, Keziah trudged slowly to stand by a bench just near the tracks, almost forgetting that she was to meet someone there.

Tre spotted Keziah and jogged towards her, stopping in his tracks when he saw her sad expression. "Well, it's nice to see you, too."

Keziah jerked her gaze up to the voice by her side and she blinked as if not recognizing him since she was full of many thoughts. Then she managed a smile. "Sorry..." she mumbled. "I was just a bit distracted is all. I'm happy to see you though," she reassured him.

Tre smiled. "It's okay. What were you thinking about, though? You looked as though something bad happened, or you heard some bad news."

Keziah shrugged her shoulders. She'd rather wait until she was completely sure of the outcome before telling him anything. "Well, not really. Just confused about something. I'm sure everything will be alright."

"If you say so..." he trailed off. "Oh, the train's here!"

Tre grabbed Keziah's hand and pulled her in the direction of the train, pushing through a crowd of people.

Keziah was distracted by her thoughts and stared down at the hand that held her own. She shook her head to push back any stray thoughts in her mind and concentrated on the train slowing to a stop in front of them.

The doors opened, and they stepped inside, Tre finding a spot for the two of them to be seated in. He looked around. "This is cool," Tre grinned happily. "Really cool."

Keziah gave him a quick glance before turning her head to mask a laugh. He was too cute, getting excited over a train. "You haven't rode in one before?" she asked curiously.

"No," Tre smiled. "So I'm apologizing in advance if I'm embarrassing."

He smiled in reply, turning in his seat to face the window.

Tre had never gotten the opportunity to ride on a train. Things had just never worked out.

Keziah gave him one more smile before facing the window again. Her smile faded though once she thought about her family and how they were faring at home. Was she selfish for wanting to stay here instead of going to them? Maybe she should call Nancy and cancel, that she had to go back home--for her family's sake.
