Welcome to Metropolis Cove, the newest roleplaying town. Register your character and begin your adventure! Invite your friends to join the fun!

It is the year 2510 and a war between the known and the unknown had just caused the complete annihilation of a city. For days, you could hear the desolate cries of the residents who could not leave even with the thick smog and rubble littering the streets. Many people died especially the adults who sacrificed their own life to save their children. They heard of a place, a refuge to take their children. It was an abandoned warehouse, in the middle of the city – now known as the slums. Among the massive amounts of children ranging from newborn to teenager were five special thinkers who could not bear the thought of ever leaving. All of them, somehow, were connected – mind, body and soul. Night after night, they would commune together in the hallway drawing along the paint chipped walls, with an old box of crayons, a vision of their future home would be. The buildings were taller, the homes more lavish and people of all races, all ethnicities, of all cultures would be welcome. Ten years later … The headline on the Daily Metro read: Metropolis Cove, a city rebuilt, a society restored.

Stepping out of the dark-green Nissan sedan, Tabitha looked up at the sign on one of the store ends and adjusted her round glasses. Store sign, it read and Tabitha looked down at the paper folded in her left hand with a scribble on it. Reading it quickly, she compared the number on the plain window and confirmed that it was the same one. This was the location for her new law firm.

Of course it was a bit small and out of nowhere, compared to the other offices in the business districts but Tabitha had no choice. Her budget would not allow her to be ambitious with career decisions. 1249 Corzo Strip Lane would have to be the address to Hansby Law. Not exactly a creative or effective company name but it was hers and Tabitha was pleased with it.

Clearing her throat, she glanced up again to study the building before turning around to walk back to the car. After belting up, she reversed and headed for the Nordica Apartments.

"I can't take your money Cain." She argued halfheartedly. She was really touched by his offer and felt extremely cared for.

Cain smiled, parking the car in front of the Corzo building center. "Don't mention it. We're associates aren't we?" He winked at her. "Hopefully friends. It's fine."

Shanti hurried out of the car as fast as she was capable and gave Cain a hug, tears falling down her cheeks.

"Thank you so much!" She whispered fiercely.

Surprised by her show of affection, Cain only hesitated a moment before smiling and raising a hand to pat her back gently. "You're welcome... Now don't cry," he muttered.

She pulled back slightly and wiped at her eyes, giving him a watery smile. "I'm sorry."

He gave her a crooked smile. "For what?"

"For all the waterworks. I'm not usually like this." She said with a small smile. "You've really been a blessing for me. You know that?"

He blinked down at her. "Really, I have?" Cain smiled and reached down to squeeze her hand gently. "Just thank God..." He chuckled, pulling out a handkerchief from his pocket and handed it to her.

She smiled her thanks and dabbed at her eyes. She wanted to do something for him, wanted to show him just how grateful she was that he'd stepped into her life.

Cain then looked over her head at the building space for sale and laughed. "Okay... Now, before you turn around, I want you to close your eyes and give me your hand."

Shanti did as he said, knowing that in doing so she placed her trust him and that she wouldn't do so with just anybody.

"Okay, I'm ready." She smiled.

Cain stood directly behind her and covered her eyes. "Okay, don't peek..." He guided her up the sidewalk and reached inside his pocket for the key to the door. Once they entered the bare open room, he lowered his hands to his side. "Okay, open them."

Shanti slowly opened her eyes and gasped. "Wow." She said turning around to take in the large room. "Is this place yours?"
