The Lady in Purple

Livvy, aka Mother Hen, and I finally made it to Metropolis Cove and I love it. For one she took me shopping for my room and it's PURPLE!!!It's beautiful, I love it!

Anyway, school started and I met this guy named Trevor. He's sooooo cute! He has pretty brown eyes and blonde hair. He's great at almost everything and he's mine! He asked me out and I said yes. He's amazing. I love being with him. He's the first guy I've met in a long time that actually makes me feel like I'm worth something. I mean I know I am but he treats me like I am too.

Mother Hen is still mother henning as usual. I don't know what I would do without her or if we had any other siblings. I'm so used to the attention. But she's been so tired lately and we haven't had the chance to really talk. There used to be times were we would sit down and talk almost every night, I miss that. I'll have to talk to her about that soon.

A lot has been happening. Livia moved out to be with her boyfriend and his sister when they decided they didn't want to stay with us anymore. At first, I was really angry with her for leaving me but then I thought about. If I had been in her place I would have gone anywhere and done anything to be with Trevor. The more I thought about it, the more I realized Livvy never really dated. She was always too busy with one thing or another. I kinda regret being so mean to Obadiah now that I realize how well he's treated and taken care of Livvy. I talked to her briefly the other day and I think I'm going to go out and see her sometime soon.



Even better, Trevor told me he loved me!!!! It was New Years and he told me at the end of the countdown! I'd seen him dancing with Autumn and was sure he was going to break up with me but he told me that instead! It had to be the best moment EVER!!! I'm so glad we're dating and that Autumn hasn't come between us. I love him so much!

So life has taken a drastic turn. I just found out Trevor cheated on me. With Autumn no less. I really shouldn’t be surprised. I mean wasn’t I always worried about their “friendship”. I don’t really consider myself a paranoid person and it looks like I should really learn to trust my instincts more. I won’t lie and say that I wasn’t completely heartbroken because I was. He didn’t even have the decency to break up with me first! That’s the ultimate disrespect in my book. I hope they’re happy together because if he ever tries to come crawling back to me I won’t be responsible for anything I might say to him.

I’m trying to put that behind me though. He’s not worth sitting home crying over so I’m determined to get out and continue to enjoy my senior year. Prom is coming up and while I was going to go without a date it turns out I don’t have to. Scott and I are going to go together. Tongues are already wagging, why not give them a little extra to go on about? Honestly though, I didn’t do it for the gossips or even for Trevor and Autumn. I did it because Scott is a really awesome guy and now that I’m single I’m perfectly within my rights to explore that awesomeness on a different level. He’s been an amazing friend and I know we’ll have a wonderful time together. I’m definitely looking forward to prom a whole lot more now.

I already have the perfect dress. Livia went shopping with me and it’s like the dress was made for me. It’s purple of course. I’m still debating how I’m going to do my hair. I’m thinking of leaving it down since I know I’ll be dancing half the night and an updo is only going to come out or look frazzled by the end of the night. Ah so much planning to do. I look forward to it all. Prom night is going to be amazing. Scott and I are going to make sure of it =)
