Welcome to Metropolis Cove, the newest roleplaying town. Register your character and begin your adventure! Invite your friends to join the fun!

It is the year 2510 and a war between the known and the unknown had just caused the complete annihilation of a city. For days, you could hear the desolate cries of the residents who could not leave even with the thick smog and rubble littering the streets. Many people died especially the adults who sacrificed their own life to save their children. They heard of a place, a refuge to take their children. It was an abandoned warehouse, in the middle of the city – now known as the slums. Among the massive amounts of children ranging from newborn to teenager were five special thinkers who could not bear the thought of ever leaving. All of them, somehow, were connected – mind, body and soul. Night after night, they would commune together in the hallway drawing along the paint chipped walls, with an old box of crayons, a vision of their future home would be. The buildings were taller, the homes more lavish and people of all races, all ethnicities, of all cultures would be welcome. Ten years later … The headline on the Daily Metro read: Metropolis Cove, a city rebuilt, a society restored.

Falkon grinned as a strong but cool wind welcomed them to the green valley where grand architectural windmills spun against the wind, propped on cranes. He lifted a cupped hand to his mouth and whistled, his voice echoing along the valley and carried with the window.

A different whistle echoed back at him like a boomerang and Falkon nodded. "My friend is home..." he pointed to one at the edge of a sloping hill.

She gasped. That was so freaking cool. "You've got to teach me how to do that." Sheena said, walking up one of the hills along with him.

"I didn't know we were going to see your friend."

When we get married, I definitely will, he smiled proudly at her and led her up the hill. "Oh remember I said a friend will help you get clothes?" They walked slowly since the wind was strong enough to knock them down but Falkon kept a hold on Sheena so she wouldn't slip.

Soon they reached the windmill shelter and in front was a couple, a dwarf man dressed in old clothes and his elven wife. Falkon smiled. "Good morning, Yuten and Janu."

Yuten, the dwarf man with striking black hair and a cheery smile nodded and hobbled over to hug his friend. Falkon had to let go of Sheena's hand to lift the man into a friendly embrace, the two men laughing. "About time you came to see me, Falkon," Yuten regarded his friend from where Falkon held him up.

Janu laughed softly, her hands clasped in front of her as she watched the two close friends.

Sheena smiled, watching the two men's friendly greeting. This was completely amazing. The dwarf and the elf. She felt like she had just walked into The Hobbit.

"Hello." Sheena greeted, waving at the two shorter ones.

Falkon grinned. "Yuten, Janu... This is Sheena," he said with pride in his voice. Janu smiled openly while Yuten studied her quietly. He cleared his throat. "She's my Kyrsa..."

Janu grinned more freely now and Yuten chuckled, reaching up to ruffle Falkon's hair before the younger, taller man placed him back down on the ground. "You rascal." Yuten walked over to Sheena and extended a hand. "Welcome Sheena to our humble abode. I hope Falkon is treating you like the princess you are."

"Kyrsa? Is that elven for whore or something?" She thought, before realizing that they might be able to read her mind too. If she couldn't have freedom of thought, what freedom could she have?

"It's a pleasure to meet you both" Sheena shook his small chubby hand. She smiled.

Falkon smiled proudly as Sheena greeted his friends openly and Janu stepped forward. "Would you like something to drink, Sheena?" her voice was soft but warm. She and her husband were the first to make Falkon feel welcome in this village and her voice assured him Sheena would feel the same soon.

"Yes, anything." Sheena said. Yuten and Janu seemed so aimiable. She was glad she met them.

"Well right this way, Lady Sheena," Yuten said, leading the way inside their home. Surprisingly, the windmill home was not at all cramped or stuffy. Windows lined every space on the walls and a fan made of wood spun on the tall ceiling. The open space was divided into living areas--the kitchen, the den, the bed places.

Janu reached for Sheena's hand and led her to a stool in the kitchen area while the two men chatted amongst themselves.

"You have a very nice home." Sheena said, sitting down on the stool. "It's lovely out here."

Janu nodded. "Falkon and a few others like my husband helped build these homes... Your Falkon, he is definitely destined as our Huru." She smiled when she heard the two men laughing a few feet away, their talk in hush.

"What exactly do you mean?" She asked, calmly, trying to make it look as if she wasn't fishing around for information. "Why are Hurus so important?"

Janu smiled in admiration at Falkon. "Although he is a mixed breed of our kind, he's a good man that can one day lead our people... Hurus are candidates for the position of leader."

Sheena played with her hair. "So who's your leader now?" She asked, wondering whether or not there could be candidates for a position that wasn't open.
She wondered why their people needed to be led anywhere. It seemed as if they had enough to be content with. They looked happy.
