Welcome to Metropolis Cove, the newest roleplaying town. Register your character and begin your adventure! Invite your friends to join the fun!

It is the year 2510 and a war between the known and the unknown had just caused the complete annihilation of a city. For days, you could hear the desolate cries of the residents who could not leave even with the thick smog and rubble littering the streets. Many people died especially the adults who sacrificed their own life to save their children. They heard of a place, a refuge to take their children. It was an abandoned warehouse, in the middle of the city – now known as the slums. Among the massive amounts of children ranging from newborn to teenager were five special thinkers who could not bear the thought of ever leaving. All of them, somehow, were connected – mind, body and soul. Night after night, they would commune together in the hallway drawing along the paint chipped walls, with an old box of crayons, a vision of their future home would be. The buildings were taller, the homes more lavish and people of all races, all ethnicities, of all cultures would be welcome. Ten years later … The headline on the Daily Metro read: Metropolis Cove, a city rebuilt, a society restored.

The cab driver pulled up to the front of the building, parking behind a line of cars with other college students arriving that day. After pulling out his luggage from the trunk, Jeffrey paid the driver, who drove off quickly right after.

Lifting his head, he looked up at the rather small dormitory on campus. But now, it was home, at least for the next couple of months and probably years. Taking a swig of his water, he popped the handle to his suitcase and began to roll it up the pathway toward the front doors.

Jude swung her legs over the banister, watching as people walked by and chatted with each other. She popped her gum noisily.

Being the new guy in a new town is really going to blow. I wonder what Camila is doing now that I'm not home. I miss her. It's sad that we had to break up cause this was the only college I could afford to go to. I hope she comes and visits, thought Jeffrey.

He continued to look around, unable to help himself from staring, especially at the one girl with purple hair & popping her gum so loudly.

Jude stopped swinging her legs when she spotted a guy walking to the entrance, staring at her without courtesy. She raised a brow at him and blew a gigantic bubble. "Yes?" she asked once the bubble burst in her mouth.

Jeffrey raised his eyebrow at her and paused before reaching the top of the stairs. "Who me?"

Jude laughed. "You were obviously staring..." She stepped down from her banister, her bare feet landing on the grass. "Or are you cross-eyed?"

"I was only looking around and anyway, so what if I was staring? It's not like I was hurting you," he said flicking some hair from his eyes.

Jude lifted her shoulders nonchalantly. "It's a free country I guess. Stare all you want..." She padded up the stairs.

"Well, I'm sorry if I made you feel some type of way. By the way, I'm Jeffrey," he called out to her.

Jude turned around as he called out to her and for a moment, he reminded her of someone from her teenage years. She hesitated for a moment, not wanting to seem mean to a stranger. "Jude." She walked into the dormitory where a few students were chatting loudly and some playing indoor frisbee.

Opening the door to let Jeffrey enter, Jude watched him discreetly.

"Thanks Jude," he smiled. "So um, is this your first year?"

Jude wanted to groan. He was actually making small talk, which she hated. She nodded. "Yeah. Yours?" Ack... Why are you following him?

"Unfortunately, yes and it's my first day in this city. I'm really not used to any of this. I'm from a very small farming town -- all this noise and all these people, it's going to take me a while," he explained briefly, pulling out a dorm assignment slip from his back pocket. He scanned the document and found he was assigned to a room on the third floor. "3B."

Jude nodded. "Third floor," she said obviously and blinked at him. "Farm... Sounds... boring." She smirked. "No offense." Inwardly she was hoping he'd get offended and leave her alone. She loathed meeting new people who were talkative like this one, who reminded her like an old acquaintance. One she hoped never to meet again. Jude shuddered inwardly at the thought.
