Welcome to Metropolis Cove, the newest roleplaying town. Register your character and begin your adventure! Invite your friends to join the fun!

It is the year 2510 and a war between the known and the unknown had just caused the complete annihilation of a city. For days, you could hear the desolate cries of the residents who could not leave even with the thick smog and rubble littering the streets. Many people died especially the adults who sacrificed their own life to save their children. They heard of a place, a refuge to take their children. It was an abandoned warehouse, in the middle of the city – now known as the slums. Among the massive amounts of children ranging from newborn to teenager were five special thinkers who could not bear the thought of ever leaving. All of them, somehow, were connected – mind, body and soul. Night after night, they would commune together in the hallway drawing along the paint chipped walls, with an old box of crayons, a vision of their future home would be. The buildings were taller, the homes more lavish and people of all races, all ethnicities, of all cultures would be welcome. Ten years later … The headline on the Daily Metro read: Metropolis Cove, a city rebuilt, a society restored.

Lukas, Rayne and Shea made their way across the street to the park that sat in the middle of the roundabout separating the apartments from the suburbs. He gently pushed Shea's stroller onto the pavement, hearing her giggle at the bouncing. She added more, pushing her chubby fingers in the air, pointing to a few birds flying up ahead. He could hear children's voices as they passed by the playground, a place much too grown-up for his little girl.

"It's nice out here." Rayne sighed as she slipped her hands in her jacket pockets.

Part of her was feeling a little awkward being civil with Lukas. It was different, but in a nice way.

Feeling like he owed her an explanation for his rudeness in the past few days but knowing he was too cowardly to start it up, Lukas appreciated her breaking the silence and starting off with an easy conversation. "The founders knew what they were doing putting the park here... Ties the community together." They reached the end of the sidewalk and Lukas bent to pick up Shea, folding the stroller with his free hand. Shea giggled and began tugging at her father's collar.

She eased the stroller from his hand and carried it herself. "You're so cute with her."

Surprisingly, his cheeks [i]actually[/b] warmed at her compliment, or what he thought it was. He glanced down at her and smirked. "She makes it easy... That's all."

She smiled and smoothed Shea's hair back "I bet she does, but that doesn't change how good you are with her. It makes me want a baby." She laughed looking up at the sky.

"But..." he frowned, glancing down at her flat belly, remembering the plethora of pictures stacked in her room that showed her full-blown with child. What happened? He closed his mouth, turning away before she could notice he was staring.

"But what?" She asked looking over at him lazily.

Lukas shook his head, focusing his attention on the swings where a father was pushing his son high. The side of his mouth quirked up but he said nothing.

She shrugged and spotted a nice shady spot on the grass a distance away. She skipped over to it and stretched out.

"Come join me."

Lukas glanced her way, noting the cool shade under the large tree she lounged under. He nodded, thinking it practical to keep Shea covered from the sun and headed her way. With one hand, he shrugged off his flannel shirt to reveal a sleeveless cotton dark-blue vest and placed the shirt on the floor so Shea could sit down.

Rayne caught her breath and raised her brow when she saw his muscles and found she couldn't look away as he took care of his daughter. He looked good...really good if she was honest with herself.

Lukas laughed when Shea grabbed one of his buttons and tugged up the shirt to bit the so-called treat. "No babe... Not food. Don't eat."

Rayne laughed as she watched them, but stopped when she caught a glimpse of his abs thanks to Shea. She bit her lip softly and turned her head slightly.
