Welcome to Metropolis Cove, the newest roleplaying town. Register your character and begin your adventure! Invite your friends to join the fun!

It is the year 2510 and a war between the known and the unknown had just caused the complete annihilation of a city. For days, you could hear the desolate cries of the residents who could not leave even with the thick smog and rubble littering the streets. Many people died especially the adults who sacrificed their own life to save their children. They heard of a place, a refuge to take their children. It was an abandoned warehouse, in the middle of the city – now known as the slums. Among the massive amounts of children ranging from newborn to teenager were five special thinkers who could not bear the thought of ever leaving. All of them, somehow, were connected – mind, body and soul. Night after night, they would commune together in the hallway drawing along the paint chipped walls, with an old box of crayons, a vision of their future home would be. The buildings were taller, the homes more lavish and people of all races, all ethnicities, of all cultures would be welcome. Ten years later … The headline on the Daily Metro read: Metropolis Cove, a city rebuilt, a society restored.

Her humor is... refreshing.

Hahah! That's funny. I'm no old timer. In my theology days, we had to converse as if we were translating King James. I will speak normally from now on.

"That's right, I almost forgot that you're a preacher. You must have several different versions of the Bible at home, right?"

"Well yeah I have to but my favorite is the Message... If you don't mind me asking, are you a Christian?"

"No, I don't mind. Yes, I am. A nondenominational one, but a Christian, nonetheless. I grew up in the church but really found Him in my junior year of high school."

Oh wow. That is really great. Good to know that I am meeting a sister in Christ. God is Good. Do you mind if I ask how you came to know Him?

"I struck a deal with God--I know it's wrong, but I did it anyway. I I got into a freak accident where my vision went away. It lasted for about three weeks, and I was devastated because I couldn't do anything. I didn't want to live as a blind person. I told Him that if He'd give me my sight back, I would never take another day for granted and would serve Him wholeheartedly. That night, I awoke to see flash of lightning appear in the sky through my window; He'd given it back to me. The rest...well, was history."

Wow. Your story is incredibly inspiring. More impressive than mine, I assure you. I can tell you that my faith came about easily but surely.

"It keeps me going through the hard days, yeah. The thought that God keeps his promises makes me confident.

How did you get saved?"

"Wow... Marley, you are a very strong woman in Christ. I think I'd like to know you a bit better. It seems we're the only ones here, at the moment anyway. Are you hungry?"

Rafael released a breath, grateful that he still maintained control in his voice.

"I am, actually. I wasn't going to say anything, though. Are you?"
