there's myxomatosis going round the islands - people gave them to the rabbits [y'know, a bit like how sharon osbourne puts a dog poop in a tiffany box for people she loves to hate] i've come across a couple of them, it's really sad.
You can tell they've got the disease because they're blinded, which makes them disorientated. They lose their appetite, weaken and usually die in around 2 weeks.

i named a rabbit Fiver
he got myxo
shoulda called him fever instead....
remember the rule: i before e except when it makes the "eeee" sound (as dying rabbits do) ;)
