The Drow

Kingdom: Yan'alk

Capital: Tekken'tal

Natural Apperance: The Drow have dark skin ranging from a dark brown to a misty grey, their eyes are usually purple, blue or black. Their hair colour ranges from black, blue and purple like their eyes, and usually their bodies are thin and tall. The Drow also have ears like the Elves, long and pointed also with their senses.

Personality: The Drow lack care and kindness to anyone who isn't their kin, they can be your enemy or neutral, they don't believe in alliances and they hate the Sun because they are not used to it after living in the caves for hundreds of years.

Advantages: Drow are light and fast, they also have brilliant senses very much like the Elves.

Disadvantages: Drow hate the sun and although they can walk in it, it can stun them for a few seconds.

Is it any wonder why I'm scared?
If I was a little younger would I care?
Feeling like the walls are growing stronger,
I don't know if this cage can hold me any longer.

I'm not afraid of tomorrow,
I'm only scared of myself.
Feels like my insides are on fire,
And I'm looking through the eyes of someone else.

I never thought they'd want me to go even faster,
Never thought I took my foot off the gas,
Everybody loves to be in on the pressure,
But I know they're all waiting for the crash.

You never dreamed you had to live your life so guarded,
Cause they'll find a way to make you feel discarded,
Things have changed you've become a complication,
You can't make it through another day's humiliation.

I'm not afraid of tomorrow,
(It is any wonder why I'm scared?)
I'm only scared of myself,
(If I was a little younger would I care?)
Feels like my insides are on fire,
(Feeling like the walls are growing stronger)
And I'm looking through the eyes of someone else!

Descriptions

Arduval: The drow of Arduval are the finest necromancers and alchemists. Unlike the drow of different races, they are known for this, and their ability to wield large pikes and spears in battle. They are usually medium-sized and slender to husky. On most of their arms are the tattoos of their house. They do not live in caverns. they live mostly in the desert, where their art cannot be disturbed. Their elements are death and earth.

Durguloth: The drow of Durguloth are masters of the crescent blade. A blade that is curved gently and is long, also a handle in the middle back of the blade. They rarely cast spells, but their natural abilities make them fast, strong, and balanced from their training with their one-of-a-kind blades. Guards only have one, but soldiers and masters carry two blades of the such. They are usually tall and muscle-bound, the blades they own strapped to their back lengthwise. Their house is based in a forest. Their elements are earth and fire.

Picture of the House Leader's crescent blade. It is made of fine white diamond.

Morfeaglin: The drows of Morfeaglin are usually trained assassins or masters of the art of stealth. They are highly skilled in the way of shortswords and daggers, usually carrying four or more upon their body at one time. These drows live in caverns or caves becuase of their naturalality to darkness and silence. They come out a night only. Their elements are darkness and life.

Daedeloth: The drows of Daedeloth mastered the use of their own special-made blades called chain-swords. Using these the drows can kill an enemy from almost nine feet away. They are weak in short-range however, and have to tuck the chain back while fighting with the edged part. Their city is built upon a lake. Their element is water.

Agraathan: The drows of Agraathan master the way of the axe and are quick-tempered and usually mean to all outsiders. They can use fire to their advantage at times. They live inside a dormant volcano. Their element is fire.

Tumdurgul: The drows of Tumdurgal are very secretive in and and are fabulous scholars of magic. They do not wield weapons, but they can disable you with one spell if they choose so. They noramlly live in places nobody goes too. Such as an abandoned land. Their elements are fire, water, earth, and wind. As they study them all.

Dranath: The drows of Dranath rely on the land to give them food and shelter. They normally live in forests, and normally carry a bow or crossbow with them. They are not skilled in melee, but ranged fighting. They are quiet, stealthy, and precise. Their element is earth.

Gurthel: The drows of Gurthel are one with their spirits and selves. They live in big tree villages, and they are usually seen with their weapons of choice, kamas. They are nimble and quick to be able to run across tree-tops and water. Their elements are life and water.

Tilduring: The drows of Tilduring have their own unique weapon called "Hand talons". They consist of a certain metal that is shaped to fit a certain drows hnad so their hand is equipped with what some call, "metal claws". They live in the air, their house magically enchanted to levitate. Their elements are wind and fire.

Alzor: The drow of Alzor are magical, carrying staffs made from the forest of what they call "Blood Trees". These trees bleed when you cut them, and their wood is hihly potent to magical enchantments put upon them. Their elements are death and light.

Valdurim: The drow of Valdurim are unique. They either carry shortswords formed to be seen like a hawk's wing, and their armor consists of swirls that form into hawk head and wings. They live usually in very cold climates on top of large mountains. Their element is wind.

Morcaraelin: Like the drows of Arduval, the drows of Morcaraelin are also necromancers, but they also are dark magicked sorcerers. They do not carry a unique weapon, and are usually unarmed. They live in dark places, such as caves or blighted areas. They commit sacrifices every week to the gods so their society has good fortune. Their elements are death and darkness.

Durilhach: The drows of Durilhach are very very unique to all the drow houses. They are a society of "dhampirs". Half-vampire, half-drow. They have all the strengths of vampires and the only weakness they share is the touch of water. They live wherever they can, usually settingling down near another races home, so their hunger can be satisfied. Their element is darkness and fire.

Tekken'tal: The drows of Tekken'tal are the finest swordsman of all drow houses. They usually live in cold locations in the north, and they are always out in the sunlight. They keep to themselves mostly and almost never take sides, making them mostly always neutral. Their elements are life and death.

Darius, your like, the only person with Drow characters. ^^ I don't think I could do it. Mine'd just wind up being hyper and leaving people with "O-O" looks on their faces, lol.

Do Martoq Drow have innate darksight like the Forgotten Realms Drow?
Or do they require magics?

Nah, whether Drow see in the dark or not is actually conditional. For instance, some of these cities are ont he surface, which means the next generation of Drows by natural selection will have refined eyesight for daylight instead of darkness. However, pick a Drow under a House that still retains its city in a cavern and they will be more equipped to see in the dark.
