This debating board is in place for mature and sensible debate, some subjects people may have strong opinions about, sometimes to the point that it angers them, if this is so, unless you can keep calm and level, avoid the thread. In order to keep things running smoothly and to create a good mannered atmosphere, the following are guidelines to maintain maturity:

There should be no flaming.

You should respect others’ opinions

When giving your opinion, acknowledge that other individuals and groups of people may have completely different views, so do not be insulting even if you think they are wrong.

Give your own opinion like an opinion, do not try and force it upon people as if it were fact.

Accompany your opinions with as best explanation as you can, so that other people can understand better and see your point of view.

Try not to take the law as your opinion; if something is illegal it doesn't mean you have to see it as bad. It is the same the other way, something may be legal, but you can still think it's bad.

If a topic violates these rules and gets too far out of hand, it will either be closed or trashed, depending on severity.
