Well folks as with anything in this world, there are going to be some rules. Now these are not intended to frighten anyone off and most will be handled reasonably/calmly.

Note however, that the bolded ones will be enforced without question/fail.

1) No threats of any kind will be tolerated, and will result in an immediate ban.

2) No bigoted remarks will be tolerated, be they racial, religious, or otherwise. (3rd offense will result in a temporary ban. After that, a permanent ban.)

3) No nudity.

4) No images in signatures. Its distracting and often people get too bold and post HUGE ones. They will be removed by request or by admin.

5) No flaming. Name calling based on someone's beliefs, religious, political or otherwise will not be tolerated. This will boil down to the judgement of the moderators, not the intention of the post.

6) No post whoring. Posts must contain content (in other words, no one word posts or just smilies). Those that do not, will be edited or deleted.

7) No thread jacking. Intentional mis-direction of thread topics will be deleted.

8) No SPAM. SPAM will be edited or deleted and promptly locked.

9) The locking, editing and deleting of threads and posts is up to the discretion of the moderators and administrators.

10) No EXCESSIVE "l33t sp34k." Also don't got mocking and pointing out people's misspellings. Its rude and annoying. People mistype. Get over it.

11) All personal information posted in the public forums will be edited by the mods for privacy and security reasons. Just don't post it. That's what PMs are for.

12) Explain posted links. Please don't post a link with a random address or 'click here'. Let everyone know what the link is for, and if it's safe for work. If it lacks a description it might be removed.

13) No double posts. If you have something to add after completing your post, please hit the 'edit' button at the bottom of your post. Double posts will be merged, and multiple occurances will warrent a PM. Again this is just annoying. That edit button? Learn it, live it, love it, and we'll all get along just fine.

14) Put threads in their proper forum. We have all these forums for a reason, folks. Please use them. Or they will be put there for you.

15) Harrassment via Public Posting or Private Messages will not be tolerated. What constitutes as "harrassment" will be interpreted by the Moderators.

16) Rules subject to change at the discretion of the Mods (and will be noted in here).

17) Finally, we are all here to have fun. Please remember this when posting.

We just want to have fun here. So lets make it an enjoyable experience. Or else we let lose the dogs and monkey. One bites and the other has knives to stab you with. They also throw their poo.
