Chryseis was lying on the bed in her own room in Agamemnon’s tent awaiting his return. She could have gone out and taken a walk on the beach, but right now she didn’t feel like facing anyone. Besides she wanted to make sure she was here whenever he came back, if he did.
She banished that last if from her mind. Of course he would return. He wouldn’t’ perish this early in battle. Would she be any better off if he did? It didn’t matter. He would come back and she would be here waiting for him.
She rose as she heard a commotion near the tent. A voice called out saying, ‘Commander Agamemnon has returned.’ She could already hear exciting rabble from outside the tent. She did hear Agamemnon’s voice calling for assistance and her name was the only one he called.
Sighing, Chryseis got up from the bed and put on a light robe over her naked form, and slipped on a pair of sandals. He always liked her to wear as little as possible ,and she always knew that the robe would probably end up on the floor as her clothes did every time she came to him.
She padded over to his section of the tent where she saw him removing his armor and said meekly, “You sent for me, Master.” Then when he turned she saw the blood on his arm ,and her eyes widened and she gave me what she hoped he took as a look of concern and said, “My lord, are you hurt?” she said in a worried voice.

He stood there as she entered, "Damned right I sent for you, and yes I'm fine..." He winced a little but hid it best he could as he moved his arm. "I am going to need you to clean this..." He pushed his way into his tent dragging her along.
He looked back over his shoulder and called out, "No one is to enter this tent, come near it, or even think about coming to get me until I come out!" He tossed her down and pulled off his own shirt, the wound in his arm was worse than he thought. He let out a large sigh and sat down, a large water basin was already in his tent with a rag in it. "Clean it."
He was not thinking about the wound, but of his tactical fall back. He was thinking of his entire fight, the way he had lost the high ground when his numbers dwindled. He was thinking of his fight and then, "Woman!" He winced and grabbed his shoulder when she pressed a bit to hard, "Be careful wench, you treat me such as this..."

Chryseis thought he was being rough with her, but she held her tongue as she always did when around him. She always did her best to please him, but it was hard.
Of course he would claim it wasn’t’ hurt, she thought. He is supposed to be invincible, but said nothing as he handed her a basin of water and a rag commanding her to clean it. As she got the rag wet and then started to clean it she must have done something wrong because he yelled at her. She was used to that.
“I’m sorry, my lord,” she said apologetically. She tended to his wound more gently. She dared not look at him , but kept her attention on his arm. Actually it did not look as bad as she first feared. It was minimal, and would not need any sort of stitches which would have hurt and caused more abuse from him. Her master was not in a good mood and this worried Chryseis. Obviously something must have gone wrong in battle, but she knew better not to ask him and she continued to tend to him in silence like the obedient should be.

He sat there as she cleaned his wound for twenty minutes before rising quickly, "How the hell did I let them get the upper hand!" He turned quickly and pulled her up by her forearm, "What did I do wrong?" He growled and tossed her to the side now, pacing quickly.
He was deep in though, blood still trickled slowly from his shoulder, but it was a light thin line, "I did everything correctly, I had numbers and a well trained army...But I was almost beaten..." He growled and grabbed his knife looking at it, he moved quickly and had the knife to her neck. He was not sure what he was going to do to her, he knew he wasn't going to kill her, not yet.
He pinned her to the floor, his knife pinned to her neck, "I could have had her, I could have killed that bitch...she was close enough to do this at one time..." He pressed down hard enough that a thin red line of blood began to appear, seeing this he pulled his knife away and threw it at a beam, his shoulder screamed with pain but he ignored it.
He turned back to her, "Did I say you could get up?" He yelled as he saw her standing there, "I did not!" He grabbed her and tossed her to the floor once more, "!^#*...Does no one listen to me!" He growled and began to pace once more, "Now, stand up." He looked at her darkly.

Chryseis was still cleaning the wound when he suddenly rose away from her and started pacing talking to himself. She said and did nothing just sat there and waited.
She was completely unprepared when suddenly he was on her and pinned her underneath him, but instead of lust in his eyes he had murder on his mind. Chryseis felt the cold steel on her neck and hoped he wasn’t going to kill her, but he was so angry he needed to take it out on someone and that unfortunate someone was her.
Her eyes widened in terror as she stared back at him unable to move for fear of the knife slicing into her neck. She felt a small sharp pain and realized he had cut her. It wasn’t deep, but it still hurt.
When he released her she nearly sighed with relief. As he turned away from her she rubbed her neck and then stood up. She hadn’t realized her mistake until he turned and saw her standing there. Another angry tirade ensued at her standing up without permission. So Chryseis let him grab her and basically throw her to the floor. She nearly cried out from the pain, but kept those screams silent. She would just have to wait till Agamemnon’s anger subsided.
Then she heard his command to stand up and painfully she did as he said. She tried to ignore the pain in certain parts of her body and resisted the urge to touch her neck certain it was still bleeding. Lately she would just have to take whatever he wanted to give her whether pain or pleasure or both.

He just glared at her for a moment and then sighed, "What the hell happened..." He growled and stepped closer to her, "How did they get the upped hand..." He turned and walked around his tent. He stopped and pulled down a whip, looking it over he smiled a dark sadistic smile, "Woman...." He laughed and turned quickly.
He laughed and swung out with the whip, wrapping the length of it around her neck he gave a hard tug and pulled her close and made her drop down. He smiled his dark smile and ran his hand through her hair, "Now, I am going to need to relax tonight my pet...is that under stood?" He tugged hard on the whip cutting off her air supply again. He watched her struggle for a while and then let the slack out, "Is there any objection to this?"
He unwrapped his whip and kicked her across the tent now, his boot ripping her robe off, "Now woman, you are to not make a SOUND!" He yelled out the last word as he lashed her with the whip, a thin line of blood forming across her breasts, "Not one sound..." He growled and whipped her again, the line of blood this time intersecting the first, "Make a sound and you are dead...No, I will make you wish you were dead."

Chryseis had hoped the pain was over, but that was too much to hope for. When she saw him go for the whip she did not move. Whatever he had in mind wasn’t going to be beneficial to her.
She stood there as she heard the hiss and then the whip wrapped tightly around her neck. She fought to stand , but when Agamemnon tugged on it pulling her up close to him she fell to her knees.
Chryseis heard his words and looking at him she tried to nod her head. The whip was cutting off her air supply and she looked up at him pleadingly trying to breathe. When he let up the grip and heard him talk angina she didn’t look at him , but said. “I will do whatever you wish, Master.” which was a mistake.
He did release her neck so she could breathe but then he kicked her across the tent. Chryseis heard a rending of fabric and realized she had lost her robe , but made no move to retrieve it.
Chryseis barely heard his next words or had time to follow them when he attacked her again with the whip this time actually hitting her bare skin. She bit her lip trying not to cry out or even let a whimper escape her lips. She could feel the blood trickle down her chest before the hiss came again and she was whipped a second time. Chryseis stayed on her knees waiting for his anger to abate wondering if she would be bleeding all over her body by the time he was finished.
