For fifty years, the world has licked it's wounds. It has breathed easy.

And yet, Marik's son, born of both the Mornthay and Malshleth lines, has met an untimely end, and the child of the son, ascending the throne, dreams of a united Annwn, a new Kingdom of Andios, under his banner.The tribes of the steppes whisper of the second coming of Kitar. The Elves have rebuilt their army, and their navy stands strong as ever. The Dwarves have hammered weapons of war in the silence of their mountains for fifty years. The great kingdom of the Northmen has been quite for far too long, and the Merendi Coast fears another Great Migration. Dark things, better left undisturbed deep below have begun to stir.

The Great Archmagi of Meridyl, and your predecessor, Elquestor, through his syght, told of the 4th, and final Age. The Age of Apocalypse. Many scholars of history and religion now feel, the Age of Might may well have ended with the shattering of the Blood Sword.....

Welcome to Legends of Annwn, a fantasy role play forum. All the hard work of bringing this story to life was done by Darin Mornthay, who spent a lot of time setting up all the important information needed to go forth.

There you will find information about basically everything needed to create and play your character. Your role play character, NPC, gear, and pets should be posted inside the Character Data forum. Fair credit, where it's due....

I may have set up a concept here, but the well done layout of the site, coding, graphics, and pretty much anything technical, can all be attributed to Umrae. It's only been through coordinated work, that WE have brought this site to life.

The world you're about to take part in, got it's humble beginnings in a school sponsored activity club, at North Country Union High School, in Newport, Vermont, the fall of 1989. Annwn is originally the creation of one, Kevin McLaughlin, who ran a (believe it or not) Dungeons & Dragons Gaming Club, dubbed 'The Northern Knights' as an after school activity.

Since then, the world has been used by numerous people, in varius parts of the USA, Canada, Europe, and South Korea. (That I am personally aware of.)

Brought to all of you now, to continue the legends started 17 years ago.....
