Welcome to Streets of Gold, formerly known as Last of Days. Thanks to the beginning of school, and other happenings, the site became rather inactive and therefore needed a good revamp. So after a lot of hard work, here's the new and improved forum. Hope you like it.

With the new layout also came a new plot. It is Marauder's era meets Harry Potter and Co. For the Marauders, it is near the beginning of their seventh year, in October. Right around now, in the year 1977, the Marauders were beginning to make their plans for the future. Joining the Order, starting families, training for certain jobs, that sort of thing. They had no idea what was in store for them in the upcoming war, or the second war that would affect the next generation.

Harry Potter and his friends, the next generation, have just defeated Voldemort. If there are any wars in their future, they are unaware. As far as they are concerned, Voldemort is dead and now they will have peace for a good length of time. But the deaths and destruction around them seem too much to bear. Happiness and peace is clouded with the grief of tragedies close to them and far away. If only they could have done something to warn their loved ones of what would happen to them.

With the help of a mysterious man, Harry Potter's generation finds themselves in October, 1977. They are among those who are dead in their own time - loved ones whom they thought they would never see again. Will the take advantage of this situation, and help to change the horrible future? Will the ever get back? If they do get back, will the future be different? Will their loved ones still be dead? Will Voldemort still be alive? No one knows what the future will bring, not even those who had already experienced it.

Currently accepting originals and canons, but canons are greatly encouraged. Check the plot, the rules and the canon list before registering. Hope to see you around.

Potions class takes place in one of the dungeons under Hogwarts castle. But some dungeons aren't used anymore, and students come down to chat, or to look for not-so-friendly ghosts.

Located past the dungeons, the Slytherin Common Room sits below the Black Lake. It can get rather cold in the winter, but a the color of light in the room can be very relaxing. Slytherin's only, of course.

The Ravenclaw Common Room is also located in a tower, near the west side of the school. You'll have to be very wise to get into it, so students in other houses would have a tough time getting in.
