How did you find out about this project?, Please let us know :)

I was asked for this new section and I thought it was a good idea because I would love to know too where everybody here read about the Unofficial LOST figures.

I know other boards have talked about us, and this last week the LOST podcast "The transmission" mentioned us too so...

What about you? Where did you read about the Unofficial LOST figures and this board?

I'll start

I'm one of the original McFarlane "crash survivors". We had been actively posting on the Spawn.com board trying to convince them to continue their series of action figures and specifically not cancel series 3. We had been posting to other Lost boards and 'advertising' the petition to save the series.

Although that effort was in vein and McFarlane opted to go for other 'popular' licenses like Guitar Hero, it ultimately gave birth to this project. I guess in reality Cristina (KarenRoss) actually did, but she's too young to be a 'mother'

I was a lurker on the Spawn.com forum following the Lost official series starting with 2 and then with 3 when that was announced. When the release date kept getting pushed back for series 3 I watched the forum more actively to get news on series 3 and was disappointed when they announced the cancellation of the series in that thread.

Popped back into that thread once in awhile hoping that maybe someone would post some news of another company picking up the official line and saw that an unofficial line was in the works and hopped aboard here.

I'm still mainly a lurker here though trying to help spread the word whenever possible.

I'm one of the 'original' people - I came from the Spawn site!

I also came from the Mcfarlane board where I and others waited many months just to find out Mcfarlane cancelled the line.

I am registered at Spawn.com. Followed the series 2 thread anxiously awaiting series 3. Didn't happen. Was surfing thru google today for any new info (long shot) and found a wiki page with a link to this board. I signed up immediately. I run a couple websites...one a custom site the other my own corner of the web.

I don't remember if I said how I came here in my little intro post... I came here from a mention of this board on the trektoy.com forum. I actually had no idea the series had been canceled at the time, I was still waiting on the plane crash set.

I found out about this forum through Lostpedia, which I used to keep an eye on pretty regularly. Now its only this forum that I pay attention to

I was looking for the Lost Kubricks...
after not being able to find them anywhere anymore I finally went to Lostpedia,
found them in the "action figure" segment and... there was talk about the unofficial series and a link to this forum.
So here I am now ^___^
