shopping in LIDLS at the frozen fish freezer
there they were COMMON CARP FILLETS
2 in a bag about 3/4 lb each cost 2.98
never seen it before and living in DEVON
surounded by the coast and loads of carp
lakes even heared of common carp on
sale for consumtion only live for the fish pond

A common food in a lot of european countries, and carp were originally brought into the uk by monks as a source of food, so as long as it is reared for food (and not taken from ya local carp lake) dont see a problem with it, not my cup of tea though (tried it once and was not keen).
