Good morning fellow members.
There doesn't appear to be much happening on here , I may be wrong but I think the last post on here was on the 'Matches' section on the 28th of November, how long can this forum survive with no new members coming in, and yes as an old member (by todays standards) I am as guilty as anyone for it's demise, recently I attempted to create a new venue and failed miserably, at 77 I have obviously lost that the plot alpng with that valuable experience that the old members imparted to me. I occasionally use FS2 and to some extent enjoy fishing the old venues but what I and I'm sure many more members were looking forward to was the new simulator that Jase had been developing but alas never materalised, no blame apportioned on Jase for that as again he must be geting on and has seen the lack of interest on here and decided it wasn't worth the effort to continue, anyhow enough of my rambling and back to my original question - how long can this site exist as it must be costing someone a few bob let alone the time and effort to keep it going!. Sorry to be so negative with my first post for a long time. Regards, algy (Alan). sorry1

Hi there.
I had the same feeling when I posted on here a while ago (first time in a long time). It's still nice to see one or two of the 'old school' still around though. :D

Hi All

Just to let you know Algy, the forum doesn't cost a penny as it is a free one set up by LB many years ago now.
So it will stay as long as the hosters let it stay or the main Admin cancelling it.

I am also guilty to not being on much now.
I also tried to make a venue and failed, can remember the basics any more. Saw on facebook Jase is thinking of shutting down his website.

I've not been on here much for ages. I don't really play the sim anymore and when I do I get bored too quick.

To be honest the last few updates made the fishing too hard for me and I gave up lol.
I used to sit for hours waiting for a nice fish but that has spoiled it.

What was it that caused you problems making your venue? I'm a bit rusty now but have been trying to finish a couple of mine that I started yonks back.

There is some help on my forum that I have just repaired thanks to photobucked taking all my images out. you have to pay to hotlink now.

Click my siggy or let me know on here.

I think my biggest problem is age.
I can't remember what I have done and what is still to be done.

Hi all, This is my first post for many years. . . . but I am still creating venues, I have 2 new sea venues one a 9 peg and a 6 peg and a fresh water one ready for the downloader when Roy is back online in Feb I hope. I also have a venue that has about 18 new species (which I have been told there will NOT be any new species) it has 13 pegs, new sounds, and 8 new baits just for this venue, it is called Time Before Man, bit of a clue of what sort of venue this is in the name I think.
If anyone needs help with the making of a new venue I will take a look and see what needs doing to make it work.
