Well I had a blast last night, although it made for a tiring day today, I’ve been out twice this year and hope to get back many more times, there’s good carp here and have seen a lot of people catching them in the hotter weather last year, I seen them rolling on top of the water last year but didn’t have any bait for them, this year I hope to be more prepared.
We caught a few channel catfish, nothing special, but caught quite a few crappie, not sure if there the white or black variety but either way there good eating, these are probably the best tasting fish I have ever ate.
This was in Greene County, Georgia, Southeastern USA, 'Lake Oconee'
A few pictures below...
A pretty lake in the day time, we arrived around 5:30 PM
Lake Oconeeyou can see the heavy fog after night fall and into the morning, this basically fell all night and made a wet mess.
