First Trip Out This Year

Only went fishing 4 times last year and i just dont know why i had lost the interest in it.
Anyway im going tomorrow and hoping the old spark comes back.

Hi Linda, yes ive been having to sort out a few minor health probs and have had mri scans and endoscopies.
Mri scans proved negative but endoscopy highlighted some problem in my stomach and im on medication plus they took biopsies which ill find out about in 5 weeks.
This all started becouse i had problems swallowing food like bread e.t.c and almost choked to death 2 years ago on holiday.
Now the tablets have improved things 90% and i just await the result of the biopsy.
Ive not been on fishsim for a while as it wont work with my latest nvidea drivers and i need the latest drivers for a game ive been playing.
Off fell walking in may to the lakes plus may go to portugal in september/october.
Where you going this year Linda?
Better get to bed seeing as im off fishing in the morn.

Tyke, how are you in eating spicy foods? Not trying to play the doctor here but it sounds like you have a Hiatus hernia. Do you get reflux, i'll let you look that up, I could put a link here but that's too much info for the kiddies.

Yes haveago i think it is a Hiatus hernia, im not too bad with spicy food its just bread, apples, taties e.t.c.
Its a lot better since ive started taking Omeprazole.
Hi Pete, its always good to see old members posting, i often wonder why lenny pike, lavaboy, and lots of other members stopped posting!
Alas i think its becouse folk move onto other things.
A new fishsim with better graphics and animation should bring folks back.
I did try to get into it again but it wont work with updated nvidea drivers.
I arrived at the pond i was fishing and it was cold, misty, windy and i thought bad word this im off home, alas i was meeting someone there so i did fish and although i struggled at fist i ended up with 25 to 30 carp, biggest was 3lb, 3 golden tench i tench and 3 roach.
Warmed up in the end and i fished from 9 till 5.30 and had a good day.

Cheapside ponds in waltham near grimsby.
Gazzawakey as fished it with me before.
Its a small pond but full of fish.
£5 a day

you were talking about the weather , best day i ever had was with jim and my son at loch doon , being very exposed the weather was horrific by the time we got there but didnt stop us and we ended up havin a terrific day .
