I have been attempting to edit the .ini file by adding 'What If and 'Big Foat' text but on attempting to save the altered file I am being informed that Ido not have permission to alter/modify the text file, I have never experienced this before can anyone suggest how I can complete this action please.

Hi Algy.

Right click notepad.exe and choose run as administrator.
(It's in the main Windows folder).

The open app.ini and edit, then you will be ok.

Or save it elsewhere, say on your desktop, then copy it into the fs2 inf folder and overwrite the original.
