my friends just brought a new laptop with windows 7 basic installed on it.. and he's installed fishsim 2 on it but now when he fishes on it and goes into his baits its says he has no baits at all now when it had before cus he's fished it for a few days with the baits showing...

ive deleted the fishsim and put him a new copy on his laptop but is still saying the same but when i load the fishsim on my windows 7 ultimate though my external harddrive the baits are showing and i can change and use them. :unsure:

any help with be great (hic)

Hi Geoffrey,

I have the same problem but i'm using vista, on my system the problem is the latest version of McAfee they have introduced "Real time scanning" and this is what's causing the problem for me.

If he is using McAfee or BT Netprotect Plus the open this from the icon in the tray bottom right of Taskbar -> click on real time scanning ->click real time scanning settings on right and turn off real time scanning for 15 mins, then start fishsim2 baits should now show, minimise and start real time scanning again so he's protected.

I have to do this each time I start fishsim2 now bit of a pain but works.
