Just came back from another fishingday.
Today I caught a bream, 5 lb.
Not one of my biggest but a nice fish, but itīs how I caught the bream that makes it interesting.
I saw this fish swimming around very slow just under the surface.
I saw it was a bream but was it possible to catch it 15 cm under the surface. I already had a float on my line so I adjust the depth and took of all shots.
Then I cast out and all the time I saw this fish and it slowly came closer and closer to my worm. I didnīt looked at the float only at the worm in the clear water.
And when the bream had the worm in its mouth only 2 meter from where I stand I hooked it and that was it!
This was the same method I used when I caught my big ide. And I saw the fish all the time but that time the depth was 80 cm. Very exciting to watch the behaviour of the fish before it decides to bite.
