Blue Moon

[Yumi Kyoshi]

Matt waited patiently on a tree limb, whistling a tune to himself. His black wings fluttered soundlessly as black eyes looked around. The black bird remained hidden as he waited silently.
"Fun," Matt whispered while he edged closer to the tree trunk to stare up at the moon above.
It was a full moon painted a light ice blue.

Koori looked around at the plants as she made her way to the lake to see Matt. Her hair pulled back into a loose ponytail and her clothes were of a very pale blue. She giggled a bit as she saw some animals scatter as she got closer. The ice mist caught her breath at the sight of the moon's reflection off the lake. "Pretty." She said looking around for Matt.

Matt turned into his human form. He wore a black tuxedo and his hair was brushed, a violin placed in his hands. The bow slid gently against the strings that laced themselves on the neck of the instrument and quietly sang a sweetened tune.

Koori caught her breath again, blushing lightly as she saw Matt and heard him playing. She smiled and sat on a near by rock listening to him play.

[Yumi Kyoshi]

"Hope you like it...." he smiled as the song finished with a silent end.
Matt knelt down and picked up a rose, throwing it down to her.

[Atela Hoshi]

Koori caught the rose, smiling up at Matt. "I loved it, Matt." SHe said happily. "This is a beautiful spot. And you play beautifuly." She twirled the rose gently in her fingers as she looked up at him.

[Yumi Kyoshi]

Matt chuckled lightly and jumped down to stand infront of her.
"I wasn't talking about any of that."

[Atela Hoshi]

"oh?" koori asked tilting her head to the side. "Then what were you talking about?" She asked blinking in innocent confusion.

[Yumi Kyoshi]

Matt just smiled back and held out a small box. Its contents were a silver ring with a jasper stone enveloped int the center.
"You tell me."

[Atela Hoshi]

Koori took the box and opened it. She blushed as she looked at the ring. "Matt. It is very beautiful." Koori said breathlessly.

[Yumi Kyoshi]

Matt coughed lightly and took her hand, kneeling down.
"I.....I know it is kind of an odd moment, but...." he blushed.

[Atela Hoshi]

Koori's blush deepened a bit as she looked at Matt. "go on." She said gently as she felt her heart beating much faster now.

[Yumi Kyoshi]

"Koori....will you be my wife?" Matt asked.
He looked up at her and smiled.

[Atela Hoshi]

Koori was startled at his question though she was expecting it fwhen he went to his knee. "Oh Matt... I will." She said happily as she flung her arms around his neck.

[Yumi Kyoshi]

Matt smiled and stood, hugging her tightly.
"You have no idea how happy those two words are for me," he said.

[Atela Hoshi]

Koori was crying. She couldn't help it. She wa ssoo happy. "Yes I do.. because you asking me makes me very happy."

[Yumi Kyoshi]

Matt placed a hand on her cheek and wiped her tears away. "Then I'm glad I asked you."

[Atela Hoshi]

"I love you Matt." Koori said as she leaned into his touch.

[Yumi Kyoshi]

"I love you too, Koori," Matt smiled.
He kissed her forehead.

[Atela Hoshi]

Koori continued to hug Matt. Afriad this may be some odd dream she was having She couldn't help but purr softly and mew with happiness.

Matt smiled at her and pulled away gently. He tucked an arm behind her legs and lifted her up.

Koori eepped a bit and hid her face in Matt's shoulder laughing. "That was unexpected."

[Yumi Kyoshi]

"Nothing is fun when you expect it."
He carried her to a rock neck to the lake and placed her down, sitting beside her.

[Atela Hoshi]

Koori looked at the ring and then back at Matt with a smile. "out of curiosity, how long did you plan this?" She asked softly.

[Yumi Kyoshi]

"Well....I've been meaning to ask you for months now.....Pyro taught me how to play the violin for you....he was going to help me set this up a few weeks ago.....making this up took me a few hours....and I found that in two hours," MAtt smiled.

[Atela Hoshi]

"wow..." Koori said still smiling. "You did put a lot of time and thought into it. You are so sweet Matt!" She said hugging him.

[Yumi Kyoshi]

Matt smiled and hugged her. "I wanted to make it bigger, but this is all I could get. Do you really like it?"

[Atela Hoshi]

"I do. I really do like it. It fits perfectly too. How did you know my ring size?" She asked curious once again.

[Yumi Kyoshi]

"Oh....that reminds me...." Matt blinked.
He took out a topaz ring and handed it to her. "your house it pretty."

[Atela Hoshi]

Koori's eyes widened a bit as she took the topaz ring back. "I'm glad you like it." She giggled and put it on her other hand. "I thought i lost that in a snowball fight I had with Ise." she admitted.

[Yumi Kyoshi]

"Sorry about that. If I had asked, it would have ruined the surprise."

[Atela Hoshi]

Koori laughed a bit. "I don't keep my home locked... concidering it's a cave but I should be more careful..." She said smilng and shaking her head.

[Yumi Kyoshi]

"Or at least keep a guard dog."
He turned into a small husky and sat beside her. His clean white fur, dismayed by the black spot on his right eye, glew gently in the moons light.

[Atela Hoshi]

Korri giggled and huggled the Matt Husky. "You are too cute, Matt." She said purring a little. "Just don't chase me up a tree when I'm in my cat form ok?" She asked.

[Yumi Kyoshi]

"I will try to resist, he said.
His nose nuzzled against her neck and Matt licked her cheek.

[Atela Hoshi]

Korri giggled and wiped the kiss in as Shiva called it when she was younger. "Ok. How about when I'm in my snow panther form?" She giggled. "Then again you'd probably take a larger dog form just to do it."S he said hugging him.

[Yumi Kyoshi]

"I could be a wolf boy," Matt grinned.
He jumped down and turned into his human form, aside from the fact that he kept his husky ears.

[Atela Hoshi]

Koori laughed and scratched Matt's ears. "you look very cute and unthreatneing like that, Matt." She said shaking her head a bit.

[Yumi Kyoshi]

"Woof," Matt laughed.
He wrapped his arms around her waist and smiled.

[Atela Hoshi]

"This has been quite a night." Koori said as she rested her head against Matt's chest. "So... when should we have the wedding?" She asked with a slight laugh.

[Yumi Kyoshi]

"Whenever you want. I don't care who comes, what happens, or the music that plays. Just as long as you are happy and I can wear a green tux."

[Atela Hoshi]

Koori blinked and tilted her head. "May I ask why a green tux?" She asked very very curious on the color choise. "And I'll talk to Ise about helping me with plans."

[Yumi Kyoshi]

"Because green is pretty. And I can't get hit with any neon colors if Chronos decides to come. Maybe an outside party next to the beach." MAtt smiled.

[Atela Hoshi]

Koori laughed more. "Chronos will change the colors... maybe. But I like that. By the beach souns nice." Koori said nodding. This was going to be fun. Just who all to invite and how would Shiva feel about it... especialy after all that had happened.

[Yumi Kyoshi]

"Its good news in dark days....and kill me when I say this...I want Vincent to come..." Matt blinked.

[Atela Hoshi]

Koori blinked. "I'm going to ask... why do you want him to come?" She asked curious yet again. "And i swear curiosity is going to be the end of me one of these days." She said pouting a little.

[Yumi Kyoshi]

"I feel sorry for him...its weird....who do you want to come?" MAtt asked, but smiled. "And if that happened, there would be a lot of trouble for those who ended you."

[Atela Hoshi]

Koori thought a few moments as she tilted her head. "Chronos and Yue." She giggled. "Those two seem to lighten up any setting. But I think it would be nice to have them there." She said as she nodded a bit.

[Yumi Kyoshi]

"Kay, how about......" matt started, thinking of who to bring.

[Atela Hoshi]

Koori giggled. "I think we should write everything down or we will forget." She said as she stretched a bit.

[Yumi Kyoshi]

"I think you have a point....but later. Were on a date now. Lets gohave some fun for now," MAtt grinned.

[Atela Hoshi]

"That's true. What do you have planned or was it to be spontainous?" Koori asked as she pulled her hair back into a braid.

[Yumi Kyoshi]

"I was thinking a walk...then maybe we could go to the beach?" Matt smiled.

[Atela Hoshi]

"That sounds nice." Koori said with a nod. "Shall we go now?" She asked as she smiled at him.

[Yumi Kyoshi]

MAtt glanced up and smiled at her. "Yeah, why not."
He held out his hand toward her.

[Atela Hoshi]

Koori took Matt's hand and stood with him. "It's a very lovely night.' She said softly feeling some what like a school girl. Ok so she was really happy about this.

[Yumi Kyoshi]

"I'm glad you like it," he said.
Matt leaned down and kissed her forehead, hugging her tightly.

[Atela Hoshi]

Koori returned the tight hug and smiled a bit.
"Shall we go then?" she asked softly her mind racing with ideas and plans.

"Of course, my love," Matt smiled, leading her through the woods.

Koori followed happily as she looked around the path. Many night flowers were blooming at this time of year and there were many moths flying around them to collect pollen.

Matt started to hum lightly as they walked. The tune was quiet and slow.

Koori smiled as she heard him humming. It helped add atpmaspher (sp) to the mood in the air.

The tune continued, slowing down after every other beat, then picking up now again.
