Spring Blooms

[Chii]

Demetreus walked across the moon lit path of the garden, his eyes looking across the flowers, just beginning to come out of their hibernation of sorts. Though Demetreus much preferred the winter, he had to admit it was lovely out. His large dark eyes looked up from his flower-gazing to the moon. He let out a deep sigh.

It had been nearly a week since he had came here, and nothing remotely interesting had happened. This had to be an all time record. Not to mention, he hadn't fed since he'd gotten here. If he didn't find a stray animal soon, Demetreus might just have to kill a homeless man for the entertainment of it all, he thought to himself, scratching his head of black hair.

A small white rabbit hopped into the garden, skidding under a bush of violet flowers with sweet hunny-suckles growing around them. Its small black eyes darted around the garden. The rabbit stayed down, it's nose twitching wildly.

[Chii]

Demetreus glanced towards the object which had moved in the corner of his eye. It was only a rabbit; Perfect, he thought, inching towards it with a grace no human could muster. He needed a bit of relief, and rabbit's blood did taste rather good. With a blink, Demetreus had appeared directly behind the rabbit, his arms extended beside it's fur. He clamped his hand around it, waiting for the squirms the small mammal would give.

The bunny jumped and squeaked, looking at him with fear. It wiggled for a moment, biting at his arms. the bunny was squealing loudly as it tried to escape from Demetreus's grasp. It stopped moving after a while and just stared at him for a long moment. Fear decreased to a curiosity as it wondered as to what he planed to do.

[Chii]

Demetreus couldn't help but smile. He could never deny that the furry little creature was cute; Ah well, it was dinner. Mercy was something Demetreus could give to an extent, but seeing as this was simply an animal, he really didn't care. As he opened his mouth nonchalantly, long ivory white fangs were visible as a replacement for canines. His eyes turned a shade of black before he lent down to plunge his teeth into the rabbit.

The small rabbit let out a human-like scream as pain surged through its body. Its fur slowly disappeared and in a matter of moments, a woman stood there. She had on a black tank-top and short black pants. Long silver hair draped over her shoulder, half of it buried under a hat. She could pass off as a human, if it wasn't for the long white rabbit ears coming out of her skull.

[Chii]

Demetreus stared at the woman, not moving; not even breathing. With a swoop, he fell to his knees, bowing his head towards the woman.
"Pardon my actions, my lady" He explain, exasperated, quickly wiping the blood from his lip. He was craving it much more than ever now, but he had to cease his emotion.

"I surely had no idea you were that creature I had chosen to feed upon. I can only reap towards forgiveness."

[Yumi Kyoshi]

She stood there for a moment, hand on her neck. Her arms were shaking wildly as she took a deep breath.
"You just be lucky I heal quickly or I would have had your head....don't bow please, its more annoying than anything you could have done," the woman said, looking away.

[Chii]

Demetreus appeared beside the woman in a shocking instant, beginning to pull her hand away from the nape of her neck with his cold hands; He surely meant her no harm, no matter how much he lusted for blood. "I'm sorry; Here, let me get a look at this." He exclaimed, not thinking about the fact he could be scaring her shitless.

[Yumi Kyoshi]

"It's fine. Like I said, I heal quickly.Besides, I've had worse done to me than a vampire bite. Really," she said, trying to take a step back.
Her eyes never left his face as she shifted to the side a bit.
