Where would be a few good places to go, and what would be a few good things to do? So I don't look like a total tourist.

Interested as well, though seeing the political scene currently in Serbia I don't think I'll be allowed to do it anytime soon...

'tis a pity :-(

Anyway, good places to go: It really depends what you're looking for, there's lot of interesting museums and shiz in London, obviously, which you might like looking around.

A tip if you're coming to london: Planning routes is easiest done using the site http://journeyplanner.tfl.gov.uk/ and, if you get lost a good way to find your way is to look at the maps in most bus-stops, if you know where you're going the route-maps should be handy.

If you visit Manchester, there are large maps of the centre around when you're near piccadilly area, those are handy for finding your way.

If you do come to London, or anywhere in southern england, be aware that drinks prices are hugely variable, and you might want to stick with known cheap places (like Wetherspoon's pubs) for regular drinking until you know your way around.

Okay, so my buddy is moving to the UK sometime this year. This makes it not an IF so much as a WHEN I come to the UK. Thanks so far for the input.

When I'm over, We shall definitely be looking to hit up some of the local music scenes as well. He and I (Mostly him) are really into the music scene. So....yeah. wink.gif

Also, we most certainly aren't afraid of dancing. Clubs a good option after pubs close?
