I recently asked Kent if she could do a quick interview with me for the message board so we could update everyone on what was currently going on in her world. Hope you enjoy!

What is your dream storyline that you wanted for TPTB to write
for Lainey Winters on GH?

At this point, any scene that involves Robin & Kelly would be fine by me. If I really allowed myself to dream, I wish they would give Lainey a love story.

What new projects have you been working on?

I built a website with Minae Noji that we launched at FCW. It is going to be amazing. (Mink Online) I am also developing a feature film that I am very excited about.

Describe what you would envision as the perfect day?

Right now I'm so stressed and busy with these projects that my perfect day is a vacation somewhere tropical, on a beach, fruity drink melting in the sun, just relaxed. Not a care in the world.

We know that you have been working on conquering your fears...what is the next thing you want to tackle? And what is the ultimate fear to tackle?

Next fear to tackle is my fear of numbers...arithmetic. I always question when I get change back because I feel they are trying to cheat me. I know I'm not good with numbers so I don't say anything about it, but I am going to face it, do something about it.

Ultimate fear to tackle? Major embarrassment and failure. I'm a perfectionist and hate to lose control. I get the feeling of suffocating easily, my fear of flying comes with that feeling.

If you weren't an actress, what would you be?

I would be one of the following: Dancer, Art Gallery Owner, Animal Conservationist, or an Anthropologist.

What one role (movie, television, stage) would you have loved to portray?

I would have liked to have been Princess Leia from the original Star Wars Trilogy; The Bride in "Kill Bill", Thelma from "Thelma and Louise", or one of the witches from "The Witches of Eastwick" (Or the Jack Nicholson role).


What has been your favorite "Girls Night Out" with your girls?

A while back, Kimberly had a gathering at her house, sort of a getting to know each other party. It was the first time she was introducing her friends to her GH girls. It was a little awkward in the beginning with not knowing each other and we rolled up all fancy in our heels. They were like "Who are these girls?" The most competitive game of Taboo was played. Things got a little heated, but by the end of the night we had really gotten to know each other and had a great time.

Are you a home body or do you prefer a night out?

Total home body! I've been so busy lately that it is great to be at home!

Who was your first crush?

When I was a kid, it was a boy in my acting class who I referred to as "My Joe". He had a small part in the movie "Down and Out in Beverly Hills" with Bette Midler, playing the royal neighbor son.

My first celebrity crush was either Prince or Michael Jackson.

What song makes you want to get up and dance?

I love anything soft rock, it makes me happy. I don't care if jamming to Kenny Loggins isn't that cool. Jamiroquai has always inspired me creatively. I listen to hip hop but not one person in particular.

Where is the one place in the world that you most want to visit but haven't
yet?

Mexico City. My boyfriend, Cristian, is dying to take me there. He was born there.

What is your favorite TV show?

Gossip Girl and reality TV! I have a serious problem.

What has been the oddest fan encounter?

I met a fan of "Port Charles" that had tattoos everywhere for the show and had fangs. I met her as the show was getting ready to go off the air and I just kept thinking "Oh no, what is she going to do now?"
