Amber stopped dead in her tracks at his statement, took a deep breath, and turned to follow the others out of the clearing. It wasn't long before they reached a small village. Tybalt led the way, saying something about seeming natural and not on edge. She complied easily, being far used to treks into town and hiding her Elven heritage from the guards. She watched as Tybalt made a rather dispicable exchange with a young girl and blanched. Frowning at his back, she continued to follow him to an inn where he spoke with the Inn keeper, a man whom he seemed to know well and who seemed to like him a lot, for reasons unthinkable to her. They then headed upstairs to a room. Tybalt picked the lock, an action she thought superfluous, but was impressed with his speed at doing so. She then frowned deeper, scorning herself for being impressed by this distusting creature. When they entered the room, however, he was a completely different person. The first thing she noticed was a small, painfully skinny sickly-looking young girl. She was beautiful, and obviously related to the man standing before her. Same green eyes, same red hair, though hers was a much more subdued shade. It suited her well. He spoke softly and kindly to her, and Amber raised her eyebrows, her eyes widening in shock. With his sister, he seemed...nice. He seemed genuinely kind and loving as her older brother. She thought a little higher of him for the exchange, then thought back to his previous behaviors and shook her head. She wondered briefly at whether she knew of who he was outside of her presence...After a moment of talking, the girl seemed to notice the small company standing behind Tybalt. He introduced them brifely to her. "This is my sister, Margrethe. Tell the truth, isn't she the most beautiful thing you've ever seen in your life?" The young girl blushed deeply, and Amber smiled. It was almost...sweet. He then proceeded to announce his complete lack of knowledge of the identites of his 'friends', and suggested they introduce themselves. Amber stepped forward slowly, smiling, and bowed. Hello, Margrethe. I am Ambrilyn. You may call me Amber if you wish. I am pleased to meet your accquaintence, we have heard a bit about you from your...brother here. She glanced toward Tybalt, and then looked back at the girl, smiling warmly. Your brother has one thing right, for sure. You are quite beautiful. She smiled wider and inclined her head a little, stepping back for the others to take their turns introducing themselves.

Daeven walked along silently behind the man. He could see guards off in the distance, but thankfully they were regrouping, presumably in order to report. Fortunately, it would take them a little while to decide on the course of action and by then it would be too late to actually find them. Or at least it should be a lot harder.
After a long walk, Tybalt had led them to the nearby town. As the entered, Tybalt ran into a woman and Daeven had to admit he was impressed at how he easily snatched her necklace. He probably couldn't do that, after all, most of his thieving had been cons or just things mysteriously disappearing. Finally they got to the inn. Daeven followed upstairs. The girl upstairs, apparently Tybalt's sister, was quite pretty indeed. Although she looked frail, somewhat sickly. My name is Daeven. It looks like your brother takes good care of you. Daeven said to her. Although he didn't really want to talk to her much. He didn't want the risk having the girl get in trouble should the guards actually come. He was worried it could put the girl in danger. Daeven walked over to the window and looked outside. It would only be a matter of time. -------------------- |

Lucas followed the man silently, he glanced at Ronin as he swiped the woman's necklace swiftly and placed it in his pocket and then gave it back to her making a date with her. When he got to the inn he exchanged words with the inn keeper which obviously Ronin knew very well. He led them to his room which as before he pick locked instead of getting the key out. When the door swung open the same fragile Margrethe lay sat up on the bed. As his two new friends stepped forward and introduced themselves, Lucas stepped forward and greeted the young lady,
Hello, I don't know if you recognize me but anyway hi. I am Lucas. He turned to Ronin and in reply to his question he said, Yes, quite right. -------------------- |

Margrethe was no blushing so much that her entire face seemed to be pink, unused to all the attention. yes, her brother doted on her, but she wasn't used to anyone else noticing her. She mumbled a shy "thank you" to Amber, then turned to Lucas. "Of course I remember you," she replied with a smile. "I'm glad to see you're remembering more. Last time we met, you didn't even now your name . . ."
Tybalt sat in the corner of the room and made a vague gesture at the others. "Well, make yourselves comfortable, I guess. There's not much space, but it's all we've got . . . and nobody's going anywhere near margrethe," he added fiercely, glaring at Lucas and Davean. It was strange that someone as perverted as he was could then turn around and accuse others of lasciviousness, but hypocrisy was one of the things Tybalt did best. -------------------- |

Daeven snorted a small chuckled to himself at Tybalt's protectiveness of his sister. It was somewhat understandable, but also hypocritical because it was more than apparent that if she were not his sister, he would be the most likely candidate for such tom-foolery.
Don't worry, you don't have to worry about me. I may be a little bit of a thief myself, but I have morals Tybalt. He muttered quietly as he found a spot on the floor that, while out of the way, was too small. Daeven closed his eyes and focused for a moment. Again he started to glow a little and transformed back into a very young boy. He stretched a little and lay down on the floor there. Well, I think sleep would be a good idea, since we really didn't have that much of an opportunity, and I have a feeling this whole ordeal isn't done. -------------------- |

Ambrilyn sat in a rocking chair in the corner and slumped down. I agree with Daeven on this one. We should get a bit of sleep before we move on. I don't know what will happen next, but it's best to stay on the safe side. With that, she leaned back against the wall and closed her eyes, going into a restful state much like meditation.

The trees swayed outside of the window, some of the branches scratching the window softly. Lucas nodded,
Sleep would be most good. He sat on the floor and lay his head against the wall while his snake coiled herself on his lap as usual. Lucas closed his eyes and slipped into his dream world as he had done so many times before. OOC: Should we just skip to like later or something? Nearly all of us are sleeping. -------------------- |

OOC: sounds good to me. It's either that or wait for Tybalt.
Amber started and sat bolt upright, daggers in her hands, panting heavily. She opened her eyes, looking around her. Stunned for a moment, she tried to remember where she was. She had had the nightmare again. The one where she awoke to screams as her village burned to the ground around her and her mother's last words to her had been Run, Amber...Run! as she reached to her, her face horribly burnt. She had run after that, to nowhere in particular, and ended up in that forest, where she had stayed. After a few years, she had stopped screaming in the night after the nightmare, but that didn't stop it from terrifying her and wakening her, quite inconveniently and violently, leaving her sweaty and panting and unable to go back to sleep. Sighing, she put her daggers away and close dher eyes, breathing deeply. When she was certain she was calm, she opened her eyes and looked around the room, getting her bearings as her memory of the last day returned to her. Looking around at her slumbering comrades, she sighed again. I'd better waske them before it gets too late... Clearing her throat, she stood and stretched and said in a loud voice, Come on, guys, we'd better get going before it gets dark. We wouldn't want to stay in one place too long, just to be safe. -------------------- |

It was dark. The room was pitch black save for the strange mirror like object in the corner. The thin film of light seemed to be a void that reached to the depths of some unknown abyss. As he stood there, he felt the uneasy fear rising within until he was petrified. Unable to move, Daeven stood looking at the mirror as a lump of darkness pushed its way through the light. The darkness slowly took shape until it was in the form of a man. He slowly walked towards Daeven with a menacingly dark chortle. From the darkness around the man, dark clones of the man closed in as well. Daeven wanted with all his might to do something, but this man, this person who supposedly was his father, was too terrifying. Each one of the dark figures drew a dark blade and just as they were about to strike, his mind was called back to reality.
----- Daeven jumped up with a start. The dream was so realistic, almost a perfect recreation of the actual moment when that happened. However this had all been just a dream. Strange though that he should be thinking about that at a time like this. Alrighty, let's get a move on... Daeven said as he got up and changed back into his older form. -------------------- |

Lucas eyes flickered open from a dreamless sleep which was weird. He sighed and struggled to his feet. He groaned and turned to the window and walked towards it. He scanned the area, the market stalls were empty, the streets abandoned bar a few guards who were still searching. He turned back to Daeven and Amber,
Lets go then. -------------------- |

Amber glanced to the hall. Should we wake those others or just go? she asked as she shuffled about packing up her things and taking inventory. Satisfied, she sat on a stool and looked to the others. What's the plan from here, anyways? She looked from one to the other, waiting.
