So, I have a couple questions. First, after four years, I assume Bryn would no longer be a pigeon, but maybe he would. I don't know. But then, if he is not a pigeon anymore, what is he? What comes next?

I'll be making an actual informational post about this sometime soon, but there are a lot of categories/ranks/classifications of the spy network. I'll put it in a semblance of rank, but it's changeable, and people often stay in certain groups if that is where they are best suited. Each group specializes in different things or in different ways. At first it's more general, but then there are specialties to take into consideration.

So here's the basic list, in order from least to greatest or however you want to say that. First to last.

Pigeon
Blackbird
Swift
Crow (subcategory: rook)
Owl
Raven
Falcon (subcategories: Kestrel, Merlin, Gyrfalcon)
Hawk (subcategories: Harrier, Kite, Red Hawk)

This is, of course, subject to change. I might get rid of some or change my ideas of their rank, but for now this is the approximate system. I'm also considering adding vultures into the mix there, but they seemed so out of place (along with owls) that I'm not sure if either of those should be there. Input?

Owls are still swift birds of prey. As long as they have a special purpose, I think they fit. Vultures do seem a bit random though. And do they even have vultures in Jonnathan's Kingdom?

So should Bryn be a blackbird now, or a swift? I don't know how fast you move through these ranks...

How fast they move the ranks depends on how fit they are to be of whatever rank comes next. So pretty much, they complete tasks until someone (I'm working on deciding what rank this is) determines that they can move on. I think he should probably be a swift. Or...I might get back to you on that when I find out more about them. For now keep it somewhat ambiguous if you can and I'll figure it out.
