what do you think?

its a hard one for me but I'd say the Star Forge
it has much more dark side power, has unlimited defenses, full of dark jedi, and powerful droids + soldiers

but then you have to take the time period in consideration

Nah, it's the Star Forge. I'm not going to say why, because even I'm not that geeky. tongue.gif

I want to say the Death Star..but I can't...as Vader put it:

The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Force.

The Star Forge draws on the the Dark Side of the Force.

It's like this, a Sith is more powerful than a Jedi in life but in the grand scheme of things, a Jedi is more powerful because they live on after death and become one with the Force.

The Star Forge is similar...yes, the Death Star can destroy planets and blow up the Star Forge. But the Star Forge can corrupt those who use it and anyone around them...the Death Star destroyed Alderaan. The Star Forge corrupted the minds of the Rakatan which caused a civil war that, coupled with a plague, pretty much wiped out the species, apart from a few forgotten tribes on the Rakatan homeworld.

In the short term, the Death Star is more powerful...but in the "larger view" it's the Star Forge that comes out on top.

In the long run, the Star Forge is more useful for the exact same reasons as Vadakin mentioned.

biggrin.gif biggrin.gif LMFAO ha ha, that tickled me that did, BOOM, no more Star Forge...

But Vadakin has already said it, i agree with him, although, if the Death Star Destroys the Star Forge befor it has a chance to do it's thing with the Force, then isn't the Death Star more powerfull??

Augh...I have to go geek on this one, don't I?

I'll limit it to three things, though:

1. Which Death Star are we talking about, I or II? DSI couldn't hit anything smaller than a planet (which leaves the Star Forge right out).

2. Even DSII might not have a chance. It's kind of hard to hit something when there's a thousand ships between you and your target. wink.gif

3. We haven't even seen the Star Forge's potential. Revan limited his use of the Star Forge to creating a massive fleet. Malak didn't delve much into the station's other abilities either, because he was too busy looking for Bastila. So for all we know, with a strong Force user at the controls, the Star Forge could put up a shield strong enough to resist the Death Star's superlaser, or even make one of its own through the Force.

to solve the death star laser problem couldnt the whole path from the star forge to the death star just be blocked by the SFs endless capital ships. They could put a bunch like right in front of the gun. Also do recall that the other imperial ship wouldnt be able to much becuz of the disruptor field

yeah i missed that.. ma bad

i think that the death stars main problem is that it wouldn't have any assistance becuz of the disruptor field from the forge

and again the star forge is the epitome of the dark side

and btw does anyone know how the size up to each other????

Star Forge sucks the dark power of the force from jedi who are dead but not one with the force so the Star Forge wins this fight.
