Proud to announce the upcoming TV series-style of Loganverse KOTOR entertainment... "STAR WARS: HEROES OF THE OLD REPUBLIC" - set to premiere shortly after the release of Episode 2: Search for the Star Forge.

The show will be in approximately ten minute segments, though some stories will stretch beyond that into multi-episode arcs. Here's the preliminary lineup for the first season of HOTOR. Ha, that reads kinda funny. HOTOR!

The first two episodes have been greenlit, which is why there is more information about them. The episode breakdowns that follow are still being approved by the network. smile.gif

Season One - Heroes of the Old Republic

Episode 1.01 - "Last of the Spire" - During the events of Episode 1, on the forest world of Kashyyk, Logan Starr reminisces of an old friend... Cyrus Bowdin, the last soul taken during the destruction of the Endar Spire.

Episode 1.02 - "The Grove" - Young knight Kaydon Sentry, to become a Jedi Master, must purge an ancient grove of the dark side on the world of Dantooine. Little does he know his enemy may soon become his apprentice.

Episode 1.03 - "Redemption" - Juhani proves herself to the Jedi Council... and her new master.

Episode 1.04 - "Bria's Path" - Before the events of Episode 2, Bria Hudson, alone and on the run, arrives to the desert world of Tatooine in hopes of finding a new lease on life.

Episode 1.05 - "Seth Draze" - Young Republic soldier Seth Draze comes into his own as a hero for the Old Republic.

Stay tuned for more details. Episodes 1 - 3 will be completed before Episode 3 production begins. The Spring looks bright for fans of the Loganverse KOTOR Movie Trilogy!

~K

P.S. Can we make a new thread or subsection of the TV Series now? Like, have Eps1, 2, 3, Saga, and now the TV show. Thanks!

Interesting... definitely looking forward to this!

How much seasons are you going to do though? I know there's a Season 1, but what about after that? Will there be two more seasons?

Season One will start in between Trilogy Episodes 2 and 3. We need to introduce Kaydon Sentry and Juhani into the mix before they appear in the movie Episode 3.

After Episode 3, we'll continue season one, with the Bria Hudson episode and the Seth Draze episode. POSSIBLY Seth Draze's episode will be made before Episode 3, but that's all tentative, since Vadakin is scripting that one.

After Season One, yes, in between Episode 3 and a potential KOTOR 2 trilogy, we'll have a season two, and season two will aim to set things up for the potential opener of the new trilogy, "Episode 4, Return of the Exile."

Season two might also continue the adventures of Kaydon and Juhani, and Bria Hudson, should they all survive Episode 3, which in a Loganverse trilogy, is doubtful. smile.gif

This sounds great, Kaydon! Really looking forward to this series and the movies as well, of course! BTW, did you get at least a little inspiration to do this series from the Clone Wars one?

I watch and enjoy the Clone Wars series, but less inspired by that and more inspired by three things:

"Battlestar Galactica" - Only watched the miniseries so far but it shows how epic a TV series can still be.

"LOTR - The Third Age" - An old PS2 game, where you are hot on the trail of the fellowship - always just a step behind. Like, in the game you arrive just as the fight between the Balrog <sp> and Gandolf is wrapping up. I like that idea of things and might try and work that into the Kaydon/Juhani dynamic - following their path trying to catch up with them to help out. You know, Kaydon and Juhani arrive finally to help out on Manaan just as the Hawk takes off. Then I can explore a lot of the side quests I had to skip in the movies.

And thirdly, some great music themes and selections that will work perfectly for the show. Also I guess a fourth reason would be to develop Kaydon and Juhani before they appear in Episode 3. It's almost a cheat, allowing me to spend the time introducing the characters in the series instead of eating up time in Episode 3.

The first episode definitely seems interesting, because it will show tragedies during the war (Jedi Civil War - K1 events) too.

You left a lot of stuff unused on Taris too, maybe you could draw use of it in this TV series. And you could use this show as a buildup for both Kaydon and Juhani if their episodes are released before episode III.

LOTR TTA sounds like a great game, actually. biggrin.gif And I heard Battlestar Galactica is pretty good too, so nice sources of inspiration there. As I said before, I'm really looking forward to all this series has to offer, especially the music themes and Kaydon and Juhani's development before their appearance in Eppy III.

Perhaps folks could discuss their favorite side quests that have been included on the worlds already covered?

I am anticipating this more than Ep3. It sounds so interesting.

I would assume so.

I'm anticipating both actually. Episode III for the epic battle between the republic and sith, and the TV series for the development of Juhani and Kaydon Sentry. I always enjoy character development. biggrin.gif
