Early morning ride, along the flat badlands of Lincolnshire, dodging east european bushwackers, quick as you can to avoid the bog dwellers of Norfolk and just jumping the border control into Suffolk, for a late breakfast.

A change of steed, with extra capacity for a smuggling run home from the Lowestoft Honda base.

Commando's in the line of fire so far, being myself and Dave.

Any particular ammo dumps, you need to visit in Norfolk Dave, I could do with a top-up in Cromer for some small calibre lead, for the journey back biggrin.gif

KL base is 87 miles south south east of point A ( kirkby - in - Ashfield )
Next fuel depot is the capital of East Anglia, 120 miles south south east of point A.
This is the PONR ( point of no return for CB600's ).
Super-Blackbirds can do the whole spying run on a tankfull wink.gif

The unknown quantity is the heavy armour 1300 on the return coastal excursion, breaking new ground on the conquest of the Eastern front.

Dave if you are watching the 9:00 news, it might be a boat needed to get across Norfolk into Lowestoft from tomorrow ohmy.gif

Wet wet wet, but we both made it back OK .

I can confirm that a CB1300 will do 180 miles to a tankfull, a Blackbird will do 205, and a R1 likes petrol stations far too much ! laugh.gif

Dave can now open a 2nd hand Glove store too.

But it was a good day, tomorrow is mega cleaning day for the pair of us, to remove all the Norfolk bog residue

Wonky plate, wonky plate. I will also be levelling it up tomorrow tongue.gif

Our radiator is full of drying gloves in the utility room. How long do you reckon then Dave, a month, or two, to get it all dry no.gif

The bike is nearly ready for it's 600 mile service, if I manage to take it out again.
Alarm to fit on a R1, and heated grips for the CB. My hands still have hot-aches, so not tonight !
