Title: Jewish Children's Bible?

Elle - September 15, 2010 01:58 PM (GMT)
So I came across the Jewish Children's Bible today....

http://www.amazon.com/Jewish-Childrens-Bib...s/dp/0943706319

anyone know anything about it? any thoughts? Keeping in mind I know little Hebrew (I'm really trying to learn! But I can only learn so fast :P )

I have been trying to translate to my children the adult concepts but I think I needing some help with it... I thought perhaps this would be a good start.

I looked inside and see its by Pitspopany Press, which is a terrific children's publishing company based in Jerusalem.

From what I could tell, it seems like its its pretty good one.

alright I'm sold I guess... I think.

heh I just need something soon. I wanna start out the new year on the right foot (maybe it would have been better had I ordered it already, but better late than never, right?)

you aren't pestering me! lol you've been really helpful!

Yes I have been there... THAT is where I got the book idea from ;)

I actually just today decided to do their Noachide curriculum. I was back and forth on the idea for quite a few weeks... But it seems a good place to start. I can add to it as needed. I printed a lot of it out and put it in binders for the kids today.

I have been looking for a Children's bible even my Rabbi was stumped about where to find one. We have A DK version but it is missing stories and is not in order. The noahidehomeschool.org site is very neat.

so I just got the first Bible over the weekend and I haven't read through the entire thing. it's only covering Genesis I think (you have to buy the rest.) The kids have been sick (AGAIN!) so I haven't had a chance to sit down and read it all yet. I'll let you know what I think then... in case anyone is interested.
