.:With a new Pokemon added to the team, Satoshi and Pichu once again are walking through the forest. They spot something in the distance. "What is that...?", Satoshi says as he squints. "Come on, Pichu. It might be the exit!" Satoshi begins running, with his Pichu close behind when he is close enough to see exactly what it is. "It's an entrance to a cave...? Well... it is better than walking through this creepy forest... Let's investigate it." Pichu nods in agreement, and Satoshi prepares to enter the cave. Just then, Satoshi is once again hit in the head by something, and knocked to the ground. "Ow! what the...?"

A wild Metapod attached to a String Shot hanging from the tree purposely dropped from the tree on Satoshi's head. "Grrr, another Pokemon? Pichu, use Thundershock!" Just as Pichu fired electricity at the Metapod, a Kakuna dropped from the tree in front of Metapod and used Harden, protecting the both of them. "There are two Pokemon? Fine, I challenge you both to battle!" Satoshi pulled out the PokeBall that he had just caught Pidgey in, and tossed it. In a burst of light, Pidgey appeared on the ground.
