Various creatures roam the lands of Izokia, both agreesive and friendly, tame and feral. Here are just a few of the many creatures you might find.
Windserpents Winged snakes that roam the skies above us, Windserpents are rarely seen and as such, very little is known about them. They are, infact, able to speak though they always have a reptilian lisp. They are mainly beign and patient creatures, though sometimes you will find one that is most definately not kind and who will lash out more likely than not. They range from 8 to 15 feet long, with females being distinctly larger than any male of their species. Their wings are feathered, though the feathers grow from a bat-like membrane and you might occasionally glimpse a flash of an ivory talon jutting from one of the finger-like bone structures that support the wing and give it strength. Alliance: Neutral Tame? No Assasins Ancient warmachines that are nearly indestructable, only one or two of these remain. They are incrediably destructive machines and, thankfully, dont attack unless provoaked. Their once weakness is water, as they run on fire-based objects, and usually steer clear of water elementals or try to attack them while thier guard is down. Made mostly of steel, they are resilient to most attacks and once attacked by a person, will remember them forever and will almost always succeed in killing the person eventually. Possessing the ability to "swim" in the ground so as to be undectectable, they are incrediably hard to sense until its too late. Allaince: Hostile Tame? NO. Thunderbirds Pteradactyl-like birds, they possess no feathers and have wings similar to the worms', having a single long spar with a membrane that attatches to their body just before their hip. They are generally 8 feet tal and 14 feet long, though some variation occures. Males and females are about the same size, thoughm ales are more brightly colored. Alliance: Hostile Tame? No. |

Undines (Posted Image) Small, serpentine creatures, they prefer to live in water, though they dont mind living on land as longas they are provided an area to swim in. They are scaled and snake-like, though they have long, slender legs that they can walk with. Membrane stretches between their toes in those that spend most of their time in water, but in those that have a person they have bonded with, their webbing has disappeared and their toes are long and dexterous, actually being very human-like in their bone structure. Their hind feet have four toes and these remain webbed, wild or tamed. Their tails are long and broad, like rudders, and may have speckling or other markings on them. Heads are wedge shaped, but fairly rounded so that theyre egg shaped when see from the side. They grow anywhere from 5 inches to 18 inches long, with gender and coloring seeming to have no indication on how big the Undine will grow. Females, however, can be told apart form males by their blue-based colors while males tend to be yellow-based, though there are exceptions for either gender. They too, form mental bonds with thier owners, though their intellegence is only that of a horse and they "talk" through images and feelings and the very rare food which would most likely be "water" or "food". When they hatch, the Undine sends out a mental search, looking for a human that will best suit their needs. If no one is found that suits them, about 1/8 of the time, they will find food from someone, then promptly go feral. |
