An abrupt burst of energy and two figures suddenly appeared in the naturally bright library. The cold hand carved white stone stood just as silent as before with the unexpected appearance of the two souls. Bells demeanor shifted suddenly once she was in the element she’d known in her youth. She’d practically lived in the library, but the emptiness had become far denser since she’d last been there. She stepped away from him and moved along the rows of the deathly silent library. Her own steps weren’t soft enough for the silence and ended up echoing softly around her. She glanced back at him as she disappeared down one of the thousands of different aisles. Her intention wasn’t to focusing on one section or topic; rather she remembered a deep secret to the old place that couldn’t narrow their search. That was… if he was still in his hiding spot.
A soft chirping sound cried out and shattered the almost painful silence. A fluffy bright red squirrel with long ears forced on the spiked haired boy. Bells fuzzy friend slid down the tall stone shelf and landed on the self closest to the boy. It chirped softly again it’s little nose working to identify him. |

Ess looked up at the bright red animal which contrasted severely with the surroundings, it was amazing how the animals in this area had such a unique aura, not nessicarily strong, just interconnected with each other almost, it was as if the forrest was literally all one entity. It took him a second to realize that Isabelle had disappeared into the many different rows of the library. He searched for her soul signature for a moment, then took off in that direction until he had caught up with her.
"You enjoy leaving me behind sometimes dont you?" |

The small creature chirruped again and bound down along the shelf after the boy. Disappearing up the side of the shelf the creature had been bounding along.
The sound of a fast pair of feet seemed peculiar in the silence of the library. She’d been running her hand along one of the few bare walls, a thoughtful expression drawn across her strong features. She was sure this was the wall, it just had to be.. No other wall had the warmth this had, she drew her hand along the smooth stone still when his voice sounded behind her. She twitched seemingly in surprise at the sound. Stopping she turned and drew a soft smile up. “Only when I’m sure you’ll be behind me given a little time.” A rattle of rather angry sound chirping broke threw the silence again and the little red sire reappeared at top the nearest book case. The tiny creature’s ears perked forward at the sight of now two people, it bounded backward then rushed for the edge of the book case. With a quick leap it became quite obvious that the squirrel was actually a flying squirrel. It glided down and landed softly on the white haired boys shoulder and rattled off again, this time looking directly at Bell with two black eyes. “Hello Chip.” She replied giggling as she folded her arms over her chest. “I believe you’ve made another new friend Ess.” |

Ess looked over his shoulder at the small animal perched there.
"I'm impressed that a creature wants to be this close to me, usually my aura scares them away, not many things want to associate with the 'spawn' of Soul Edge." The small creature tilted his head and looked back at Ess'enen. It seemed as though it was inspecting him a good bit, almost like it wanted to see what the contents of his heart was, then react accordingly. After they had a staring contest for a bit, Ess looked back at Isabelle. "So what exactly are you searching for again?" |

His response made her giggle again, she shook her head. This made her long purple locks ripple about her head accordingly.
"Well that little creature there has been with me since I was little. He's seen as many, if not more things then I, and... Well I'm not afraid of you am I." She replied turning her attention back to the stone, trying to not come off as reveling more about just how much she'd allow herself to trust, and care fore him. She drew her hand back along the smooth rock as he questioned her motives. “Help... if it hasn’t left like the others.” She replied in a soft tone as the wall began to grow a little warmer. She brought up her index finger and wrote out an elvish symbol into the warmth, for a moment nothing happen. She’d been ready to give up when each stroke was suddenly mimicked but a soft green light. A wild smile pulled at her light pink lips. She wrote another and another once she reached the end of the open stretch of she waited passionately as each stroke of her finger was mimicked by the soft glow. The little creature curled it’s tail round it’s four tiny paws seemingly content to stay seated on Ess’s shoulder |

"Yes and the fact that I am inherently part evil not scaring you away amazes me still to this day."
The small animal chirpped again, as if to tell Ess 'You should know better.' Ess watched intently at the markings continued to highlight themselves after Isabelle had written them on the wall. He could feel a strange sealing technique behind the symbols, somewhat remniscient of his own. |

Bell threw a mock glare in his direction at his response, the illusion broken by the bright smile that was still pulling at her pink lips. The letters seemed ready to fade out of existence, when more elvish script began to appear slowly with care in each line made, steadily the words were written out till the sentence was complete.
“The words of wisdom only fade. . .” “. . .If the memory of those who brought them into being dies.” Something in the wall made a click and the light green writing was replaced with thousands of lines of scrip that lit the entire library up with its light. The wall slid a few inches back, and then to the left. Reveling an old wither tree like being, that held more of a primitive and elemental look to him then young Isabella. His age was evident with more then just the simple fact that Issy looked like a child barely old enough to walk compared to him. There was also the fact that his energy held an almost prehistoric power and knowledge that rushed threw the library like a thick fog, looking for any hint at there being more then just the three begins before him with in hearing distance. “You stayed?” Issy questioned as she stared over at the old man in almost an unbelieving manner. The accent thing chuckled in a soft manner, which made his whole being shake. “You showed an outsider the way in?” He wheezed, glancing over at Ess with milky white orbs. Bell glanced to Ess her face holding an uneasy look as she turned her attention back to the old man. Another chuckle sounded though and she relaxed as he suddenly spoke again. “Good for you child.. Such rules were ment to be broken..” “Come.” He beckoned her with a bony hand, his old wrinkly face turning up in a smile as he turned from all of them and disappeared into the darkness. Bell followed after him, but stopped just before the door. Turning her soft blue eyes back on Ess she let the tender smile return, and pull up a hint of a smirk. “Come on, I know your not afraid of the dark” She teased softly. |

"With my family history... I might as well be the dark."
With the furry animal still perched on his shoulder, his only option was to continue forward into the darkness following the soul signature of Isabelle, who was immeadately in front of him. |

The warm flicker of a light could be seen a ways into the distance, but it was obvious that the small tunnel veered off to the left. She glanced back at him, double checking that he was following before she disappeared round the corner and found a large warm room which was for the most part completely closed off from the woods that enclosed the library and the entire woodlin realm. Beakers bubbled with strangely colored liquid. Some transparent, others cloudy to the point of being solid like. The old man waved his hand towards a large (bean bag like) sofa, with a vary old lizard sleeping contently upon it which snored loudly. Issy found her self a place on the floor next to the large lizard she stroked it's head softly with an expressionless face. The old creature flicked it's tounge at both her and Ess before rolling over for Issy so that she could scratch his belly.
"Atem. . You must know why it is that I came back. ." She said finally breaking the warm silence. The old man chuckled softly rubbing the knuckles of his left hand as it rest atop his knarred walking stick. "I know why you both have you returned to this abandoned relem. The gods have left..." For a moment he drew his eyes from Issy, then back to Ess as though to make some unknown point. Issy drew her eyes to Ess as well, they traveled back to the old sage with a questioning look. "The Gods. You brought them back didn't you boy." |

Ess watched as the old man's stare lazily drifted over towards him., until the old man's nearly blind eyes locked with Ess' deep yellow eyes.
"I'm sorry to say that I couldn't let my father stay sealed away forever, it merely doesn't sit well with me." He tried not to be completely rude while saying that, granted he still felt that it came off that way, his mother wouldn't have been pleased with him in the slightest bit. |

Bell’s eyes snapped back over to Ess with the sudden harsh tone. She couldn’t recal having ever heard him use it before. She drew her eyes back down to the old lizard as the Sage chuckled softly again. The old man didn’t give off a hurt air, rather one of a humored grandfather.
“One can not be expected to sit back and watch when their family is in need of aid.” He took a moment to cough softly. “I was merely making a statement. You father was never so quick to become so offended by my statements” He chuckled and wheezed again. “Kericuno, and you mother visited me many times before.. When I was far younger mind you” |

"I apologize for my tone, it wasn't intentional..."
Fantastic... is there anyone who doesn't know my parents? They certainly were involved in all of the goings on of the world... would make sense that their disappearance would affect the well being of the world around them. "Anything that you could do to help us would be greatly appreiciated." That was certainly something that would have come straight from his father's mouth. |

The old man wavy off the apology with an amused look as Isabella turned her attention away from the creature again.
“Isabella knows full well I can. Why else would she have brought you here?” The old man questioned in a gruff tone, as he stood and hobbled into the gloom of another tunnel. Bella stood and found her way back to Ess, a soft hand grasped softly at his forearm as she cast an unsure smile up at him. “Are you aright Ess?” She questioned, unsure of why he’d reacted the way he had. |

Ess looked down at her, with a small amount of 'I'm sorry' in his eyes. He hoped the look in his eyes would speak for itself, thinking about it, he wasn't sure why exactly he reacted the way he did, he must have felt stronger about his father than he initially thought.
He looked back to the old man and watched him hobble into the tunnel, then back to Isabelle, to wait for her to motion what exactly to do next. |

Her sharp ears picked up the sound of shuffling, and she caught the look his eyes held she drew her gaze away from his to glance away into the darkness. Before she turned her eyes to his forearm, where her thumb had taken up the task of making a small comforting circuler motion.
"He didn't mean to cause such a sturr. He is vary much like all elders of my land. They speaking with little regard of how it makes the youth they speak to feel and expect.. fortautly, it seems you're reaction had actuly been what he'd expected.." She smiled up at him, as the sound of the man muttering to himself mannaged to make it's way to them. "I'm sure he's finding something to help.." |
